ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
Al hamdulilla Ramadan has embarked upon us and majority of us try to distribute our Zakat in this great month which carries many rewards inshAllah.
The question is who do you distribute your Zakat to? Please vote and do share your views.

zakat give to the poor relatives and friends
if we give zakat to poor relatives , they can start there businss may be, next year he will able to give zakat..
jazak ALLAH khair
one main thing iam mention here is the , in zakat rupees if can make the water tang in poor areas , where they drink the water bcz many year there is no water 
how they survive ?
we can think abt it ? if one person drink the water for ur side ...
it is benefical to u

we usually give to local imam saab who then sends it on to pakistan as he always has relatives going to pakistan this time of year and we trust him 100%

I don't give zakaat as I am not old enough  but my mum and dad give zakaat to muslim charaties .when I am going to be older InshAllah I will give zakaat.

i voted other as we send it back home and they distribute to those that need it most.
this year though my husband has said that the main amount should go to relatives as they are finding it very hard this year.
may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala give us all the means to pat zakaat and increase the amount year by year, so we may help those that need it most. Ameen.

I send money to my Parents in Pakistan, and My Mom distribute between poor peoples.
In our Family, Al'Hamdullah I never seen any poor person, all they give ZAKAT.
However, I also give some amount to Markzee Incharge of Dawat.e.Islami in Kuwait.

A very good poll Sister Nomee. I voted for a mixture of the above as I break up my Zakaat and give to as many people as I can, send some abroad to our relatives and also to my orphan that I sponser and also to muslim Hands to distribute it where needed most as well as give some to my brothers who give to the Muhaddith e Mission abroad who give out to the poor and a few brothers who collect here for their relatives and villages abroad.

I send my zakat to various organisations in the UK and abroad, poor relatives back home in Pakistan and India at the moment some of zakat goes to The Halimah Trust (dedicated to my Marhooma Neice) which has raised over £20 000 within 6 months and we are hoping to build a School of Excellence for orphan girls in Pakistan. I will also send money to various madrasses in Pakistan and Dawate Islami inshAllah.

I am pleased to see not many give directly to charities. Only a fraction of the money that these charities receive goes to the poor and needy.
