 Ramadan Vote : Poll closed
« Thread Started on Sept 28, 2005, 11:47pm »

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

As we approach Ramadan I would like you to reflect on previous years Ramadan and what it actually meant to you ? So the Poll is ... what aspect of this blessed month do you look forward to the most every year ?

You may not want to cast your vote until Ramadan has started officially .... which is fine as you have until Laylat al-Qadr 27th Ramadan to Vote.

Please be truthful, whatever else in this month of patience and perseverance.

You cant beat getting ready to sit down and break the fast, thats what ramadan IS! ;)

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Going for tarabi is part and parcel of ramadan and i always lookk forward to it mentally and spiritually. Also its a great way of keeping fit and your digestive system in order.

What is wrong for waking up for sehri ? It is haram to make fun of other peoples serious intentions, if you have problems waking up for sehri then you have problems waking up for fajar namaz normally. Do you always have to make fun of important fard duties of ramadan ?

A valid point but i think brother Mohammed Khan was being serious with a nice touch of humour. After all and i am sure i speak for the majority when saying its not easy just waking up at the middle of the night.

If waking up in the night is for the pleasure of Allah Subhan wa'tala then I definately enjoy waking up in the night.... sacrificing sleep in Ramazaan, am sure is a great reward

Good point about fajar.

But the only kaffirs you see going for walks near me are drunks on the way home or burglars on the lookout. ::)

hahahaha!! i dont think i wana no where your from, but generally you see the kafirs going for their daily morning run trying to be as skinny as the person on their screens that the media shows them. i think its a cruel world for the young as their are so many pressures around. neway back to the point, i do find it hard to wake up for sehri, and i just dont understand how any1 can eat anything at that time in the morning, if am lucky ill have ceral if not then brush ma teeth and have a glass of water then pray till fajr. i no people who have roti n kaleji for sehri... :-/ :-/
