Forgiveness and embarking the journey of Hajj?
« Thread Started on Nov 7, 2009, 10:11pm »

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam

Making the journey of Hajj a person has to start with repenting to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, and giving back the rights of others.

If someone has a right on him, he has to give it back to him, for instance if he backbited someone he has to ask the person to forgive him, if he has taken the money of someone, he has to give it back to him; if he harmed a person, he has to seek his forgiveness. He has to give the rights of those with whom he has a close relationship like the family and friends and to say good-bye to hisloved ones and to his neighbours.

Its a journey of a lifetime and to return back sin free.

Many make the journey without reeconciling with friends and family.

What are your thoughts on this matter? Surely we must ask forgiveness from others in order for Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala to forgive us and accept our Hajj?

JazakAllah

Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Asslmau Alaykum yes i will because you have to have a clean heart before you perform hajj Sister. An excellent question Sister well done.If you pass away in hajj at least you know you have asked people to forgive before hand.

Take care
