Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuJust to give some indication which might help: Hadrat Ghazi al Millat have received Khilafat from five different Salasil's. These are as follows :- Hadrat Sarkar-e-Kalan (Silsila al-Ashrafiya) Qutb-e-Madinah - Ziauddin Muhajri Madani (Silsila al-Rizwiya) Sayyad Yahya Hasan Barkati (Silsila al-Barkatiya) Sufi Shamsul Haq - Khalifa of Muhaddith al-A'zam al Hind (Silsila Muhaddith al-A'zam) Hadrat Shaykh al Islam (Silsila Shaziliya) from www.islam786.com

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
I too would like to know more about this connection. It's funny as I attend a Zikr programme from time to time and the people there are part of the Tariqat Shaziliya. I was asked if I would like to take Bayat with them but explained I already had a Pir o Murshid. I will be amazed if there is a connection, Subhanallah!!!

Salam
I dont have sure but i read somewhere that the sufi founder of this silsila is Hazrat Imam Qutub Shazili (from egipt) he is Saahib e Hizbul Bahr (he received this tresure directly from Allha's Beloved Muhammmad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam), a very strong wazifa. This wazifa is practiced by all sufis of Ashrafiya Silsila. Imam Qutub Sahazili was one of the first sufi that began to understand the thinking of Imam Ghazzali, he used to say, more or less in this words, that "if all knowledge is forgotten and still remain Ihya Uloom Al Din, the knowledge can be recovered".
Pardon my English Its not may mothern language

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
The truth is that the Ashrafi Silsila has many secrets that our kept secret, very very few people know them, for instant I never knew of the connection between Hazrat Makhdoom Ashraf Radi Allahu anhu and Hazrat Moulana Rumi Radi Allahu anhu until Hazrat Shaykh Ul Islam told us of the visit before the migration

Well they are bound to be connected as are all the Saints of the Silsila's of sufism, some in more obvious ways then others, just because we dont know something, doesnt make it false

I'm interested to know what Hazrat Saheb said about the 'visit before migration' i'm fascinated. Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuIm glad youre fascinated by this, but you would be asking the wrong person, what I heard was very minimal and the conversation regarding this changed when new people came into the room, I suppose the lesson for me is that some secrets were suppose to stay secrets May Subhanahu wa Ta'ala safeguard the secrets of our Shuykh and raise their status even higher - Ameen

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuI found this source on the Internet: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu'l_Hasan_ash-Shazili It says that the Shadili order was found by Abu'l Hasan ash Shazili who was from Morroco and who studied in Fez, a city in Morroco. Hadrat Shazili travelled to Spain, Iraq and many other places and finally settled Alexandria. He was a close follower of Moulay Abdas-Salam ibn Mashish. Life span on earth: 1175-1258 Quote of Hadrat Shadili: "O Allah, you have sentenced the people to abasement until they become mighty, and You have sentenced them to loss until they find. The one who has no abasement becomes the one who has no might, and the one who has no loss becomes the one who has no finding. The one who lays claim to finding without abasement is deluded. The one who lays claim to finding without loss is a liar." Retrieved from "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu-l-Hassan_ash-Shadhili" Oringinal extract from the book, The Thoughful Guide To Sufism by Shaykh Fadhlalla Haeri.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Yeah, I would like to know all the Tariqa's which Hazrat Shakyh Ul Islam have been blessed with and from which Mashaykshs they came from.
I know that every Tariqa has its secrets, I wonder if Hazrat Shakyh Ul Islam have been blessed with the secrets of these silsila's aswell.
The best person to ask this would be Hazrat Ghazi Millat, you will get the most detailed answer and understand everything more
