Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Imam Jazuli Rehmatullahi ’Alaih , whose full name is Abu Abdullah Muhammad Ibn Suleiman Ibn Abi Bakr Al-Jazuli Al-Simlali.
A descendant of the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam .
He was once walking and went to a well to get some water, there he found the rope to the bucket in the well to be broken. He was thinking he could not get the water out now, at which point a little girl came, prayed something and the water started to gush out of the well.
When he asked her what she had prayed she replied in amazement, saying that you (Imam Juzuli) are such a great scholar and YOU do not know this? Although the little girl did tell him she prayed durood shareef , she did not disclose which one...
From here Imam Juzuli's journey began, he travelled the world searching for the best durood shareef's and then placed them into a book, the Dalail ul Khayrat ... which is also one of the many beautiful names of our beloved Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam.
There is more to this story that I do not remember right now, but I do know that it was confirmed that the original durood of the little girl IS in the book, although even Imam Juzuli wasn't told which one.
But remember that this beautiful tribute to our master, the master of the messengers and the Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam , contains MANY beautiful duroods complied into one VERY easy to read book.
It is generally split up into 8 parts, 2 parts for Monday and one part for each other day of the week. All you need to do is pray the Intention for Supplication and then the relevant section.
I advise a purchase of this book, although online versions are available:
www.nurmuhammad.com/Dwnlds/DALAILUKhairat.pdf
(translation and romanised arabic - press the button on the toolbar to rotate this document)
www.geocities.com/durooduk/dalail.htm (a translation)
I know Ar-Rijaal in Leicester has this book, but I'm sure you can find it if you look hard enough... this is YOUR call to a truly unbelievable way to get to him Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam , and I will be posting a story of a brother with such a story soon.
Salaaaaaaaaaama
