Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam1. Glad tidings be to you O sinners; your intercessor is the prince of righteous 2. Congratulations! the Lord Almighty is Al-Ghaffār, the Forgiver. The Imām raĥimahullāh contrasts it thus: Sinners should be glad with the hope of intercession by the Prince of Righteous and in the presence of the Oft-Forgiving. 3. The earth under his feet is like the Exalted Throne; and the sole of his foot is above the Throne 4. By Allāh Subhanahu wa Ta'ala! what a graceful walk thou possess! The first line is an allusion to the Ascension when RasūlAllāh şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam went past the Throne and hence, the earth under his feet is as precious as the Throne. And the second line should actually be: ‘kyā nirālī tarz ki – Allāh! – raftār hai’ But Alahazrat has modified it to fit the meter by replacing the name itself with a pointer instead: ‘nām-e-khudā’ as an interjection. 5. the moon was split; trees spoke and animals prostrate 6. Allāh Subhanahu wa Ta'ala’s Blessings upon him; he is the refuge, a sanctuary for the world. The first line mentions miracles of the Prophet şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam which are used to draw the conclusion in the next line: ‘He is the refuge towards whom the world turns.’ Naturally, this is granted by Allāh Subhanahu wa Ta'ala to His beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. 7. He spread them towards the heavens and filled the earth with rain 8. O beloved Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam! We too need the alms given from those blessed hands. In ĥadīth, there is a story about a companion who complained to RasūlAllāh şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam about famine and he şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam was sitting on the pulpit. He raised his hands and prayed for rain and before his raised hands came down, the skies began to pour. It poured so much that after a while people complained of flood. Alahazrat says, when RasūlAllāh şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam raises his hands towards the heavens, we are flooded with blessings. We are in dire need for you to raise those beautiful hands and give us alms. source: yasayyidi.wordpress.com/

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
This is such a beautiful poem. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala make us true lovers of Sayyiduna Rasulallah Sallallâhu 'alaihi wa Sallam Ameen.
IN THE SHADE OF MERCY
By Imam Abul - Hasan Muhammad al- Bakri Radi Allahu anhu(d 952h) from al- Anwar wa-Misbah al-Surur wal-Afkar wa-Dhikr Nur Muhammad al-Mustafa al Mukhtar (The Lights and Beacon of Happiness and Thoughts and the Commemoration of the Light of the Elect Muhammad Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) and translated by Shaykh Sayyid Muhammad al Yaqoubi (May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala give him a long life Ameen ) in a flight from London to San Francisco in June 2000. The Qasida appeared in the Q News Rabi ul Awal edition a couple of years ago.
No Mercy that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has sent or will send, none that may ascend; descend or transcend
In the realm of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala or in His Sovereignty, Whether it is specific or comes in totality,
Except that Taha , His Servant, the elect, His Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, the Preferred whom he verily has sent
Is certainly the means of it as well as a source, A fact that every man through reason can course.
So beseech him always for everything you need, For he is the Shafi' who accepts all who plead.
Take shelter in Him from all distress, For safety is he always as well as fortress.
Put down the loads of hope at him there; He is the refuge the one who will bear
In a state of hardship when calamities befall, Do not despair and upon him call
O most Esteemed of what Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala did create, And the best by whom to Him we supplicate.
How many a time you removed grave grief, And this is what afflicted me again, in brief.
More helpless than me none did ever exist: What strength do I have or stamina to persist ?
By him who made you in the world sublime And raised you to a rank no one can climb
Disencumber me of all hardships and pain; Whom do I solicit if you desist or refrain?
At loss am I ; my patience is gone. I have not a clue of what next is to be done
You are the door to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala; whoever finds a way to travel without you will surely be turned away.
Prayers on you as the winds of the north Swiftly shake hand with the flowers that come forth
With Salam from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala as the scent of the Houses Smells sweet, and the fragrance of incense arises
With the Family, the companions so long as a pigeon Whose twig is succulent coos loudly in the region.

"One can exaggerate loving the Beloved Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Aalihi wa Sallam) and there is no blame on them. The love should run in our veins, settle down deep in our bones, and permeate every tissue in the body."

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
I wanted to share the translation of a Bangla naat.
The only desire I have
The only desire I have
Is to find you
I want to row the boat of life
In the ocean of your love
I don't wish to possess a kingdom
Nor do I wish to live on Earth.
I take vow to sacrifice this life for you
I would be honored to be a martyr for you
All my deeds will go in vain
Unless you accept me
I will be lost in darkness
No one could set me free
(I will loose both sides: the world and the world hereafter)
(YA RASULALLAH, YA HABIBALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)
Please quench all my thirst
With the nectar of your kindness.
The green turret of Medina is summoning me
My body dwells here (Bangladesh) but my soul lies in thee
Being a servant of yours,
Touching your sacred feet,
I want to relinquish
All pessimism and all pain
Thus I enter your frame
(YA RASULALLAH, YA HABIBALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)
O the merciful Prophet,
O the symbol of my love
You dwell in this servant's heart.
I see many groups of travelers everyday
Heading towards Medina
I feel restless; they surely are on the way.
I can not help setting off to Medina
O Street, come near to me
I want to be a traveler of Medina
(YA RASULALLAH, YA HABIBALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)
I wish to say all my stories of pain
To my dear Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
I am driven by no fear
As the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam is here
I will be salvaged by him
On the Day of Judgment
I am driven by no fear.
I have nothing but this hope
I ever wish to see his holy face
The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam is the symbol of generosity
The Prophet is “Noorey Mujassam”
His evidence will give us salvation
I am driven by no fear.
I dream, I cherish the desire in my heart
That he might refuge me under his feet.
I am helpless in this endless ocean
Solve all my troubles by your grace
I am driven by no fear.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
You are the path to salvation, you are Allah's dearest
You are the king of two kingdoms (the world and the world hereafter)
You are the king of Islam and the world.
Your cry for our comfort knew no bounds
You established Allah's religion
With the blood from your wounds
You are the prophet of all prophets
You have endless kindness
You are the king of Islam and the world.
Your are the final hope on the day of Qiyamat
When we all will find no other ways
You will save the sinners by your silvery rays
You are the king of Islam and the world.
I wish you graced me by your presence on my death
I wonder if I could utter Kalima before I died.
My ultimate goal is to see you with my eyes
You are the king of Islam and the world.
