Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
I pray that you are all well and in the best state of Imaan, Ameen!
A question that has been on my mind for a few days, are Muslims allowed to wear leather?
Im pretty sure they can because of wearing leather socks, but you can never be too sure these days can you
Jazakallah Khairan
Fi Aminillah

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhuyes they can sis as far as i am aware due to the fact that shoes, belts, coats, sofa's and ad you've pointed out socks are all made of leather. but i'm assuming it can't be from pig but any other animal. this point i don't know as i have never really asked this question i know my husband once asked the mosque imam but i can't remember the answer. a link from a question that was asked the imam about leather in salaah ashraf786.proboards15.com/index.cgi?board=dress&action=display&thread=13745
