Hadith pertaining to the Noor of our Beloved Prophet ﷺ and He already being a Prophet ﷺ

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

يا آدم ارفع رأسك فرفع رأسه فرأى نور محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال يا رب ماهذا النور قال هذا نورٌ نبى من ذريتِكَ إسمه فى السماءِ أحمد وفى الأرضِ محمد لولاهُ ما خلَقْتُكَ ولاخلَقْتٌ سماءً ولا أرضاً

When Prophet Adam alayhi salaam was making his first Prostration (sajdah) and raised his head from the worship of Allah azza wa jal he saw in the Arshi ilaahi the name of the Beloved Prophet ﷺ written in the form of the Kalimah Tayyibah, so He (Prophet Adam alayhi salaam) asked Allah “who does this noor (light) belong to, whose name is this?” Then Allah azza wa Jal replied, “This is the noor (light) of my Prophet who will be from your children, whose name in heaven is Ahmed and on earth is Muhammad and if if I did not intend to created him I would not have created you, the heavens or the earth”


What we learn from our masters from this hadith shareef is:
(1) that Allah azza wa jal created the Noor (light) of our Beloved Prophetﷺ first.
(2) that because of the Beloved Prophetﷺ Allah azza wa jal created everything.
(3) That the Beloved Prophetﷺ was already a Prophet before Hisﷺ bless milad

و كونه رافعاً رأسه عندما وضعته شاخصاً ببصره إلى السماء ، و ما رأته من النور الذي خرج معه ولادته ، و ما رأته إذ ذاك أم عثمان بن أبي العاص من تدلي النجوم ، و ظهور النور عند ولادته ، حتى ما تنظر إلا النور

As our beloved Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, was born a radiant light accompanied him and he lifted his head towards the heavens and the mother of Othman’s Abil-As’s son witnessed stars lowering themselves and a light so bright appeared that she could see nothing other than light.
