Okay I was in a mosque in Bradford not too long ago, and there were people reading the kalaams of a person called 'Pir Barq Naushahi" Something along those lines - Forgive me If I got the name wrong... What I wanted to know is who is this Pir? Did he have any relevance to the British Muslims or in Pakistan? And where is he right now? Is he by any chance a Mureed of Pir Syed Mahroof Shah Naushahi of Bradford - A well know Pir around that area?
I have seen and I know alot of different Pirs/ Shaykhs in Britain, but I have personally never seen the man, but have heard alot of his Kalaams over the years but I have never personally known who he is? But I have to say, whoever he is, he seems to have a Talent in Writing and Poetry... His poems are pretty awesome no doubt... what do you guys think?
And please could you state if this man actually was a Pir and was not somebody who claims it.
Thank you.

Peer Barq Shah Rehmatullahi have written many beautifull kalaam in praise of our Madani Aqa Sallahu Alihi Wasalam. They have many mureeds throughout the world. Hope that helps. wasalaam

I can't believe I didnt know this guy before - well i did to a certain extent. Thank you sister Nomee for telling me a little more about Pir Syed Abul Kamal Barq Naushahi (Rehmatullahi) but is there any chance you now any more about the Great wali? I ask this as I have blood relations to both Pir Syed Mahroof Shah saab and Pir Syed Abul Kamal Barq Shah - Through there eldest brother, and my grandfather Pir Syed Alam Shah Naushahi (Rehmatullahi) who resided in Chakswari, Some may know of him. But I personally find Pir Syed Barq shah saab as a personality I want to know of, and If he was renowned - I already know of his great writing pieces and Kalaams and also that my Shiekh and relative Pir Syed Mahroof Shah Naushahi brought him over to help with the Silsila in England in the 80's.
I know it may seem wierd of me not knowing of this great Wali and what he brought to the world whilst being related to him to some extent through Pir Barq Shah saabs Eldest brother - But I always thought of Pir Syed Mahroof Shah (My Shiekh) as the figurehead of the Naushahi silsila Until I learnt lately of his elder Brother who was gifted Mashallah.
Sorry if it was long. I just wanted to know more about him - Since he did help our silsila out greatly especially with the books he has written.
