Narrated Abu Huraira(Radi Allahu anhal): Allah's ApostleSalla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam said, "Allah says, 'I have nothing to give but Paradise as a reward to my believer slave, who, if I cause his dear friend (or relative) to die, remains patient (and hopes for Allah's Reward)." Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu):
I heard the Prophet Muhammad (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) saying,
"If somebody commits a sin and then says,
'O my Lord! I have sinned, please forgive me!'
and his Lord says,
'My slave has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for it,
I therefore have forgiven my slave (his sins).'
Then he remains without committing any sin for a while and then again commits
another sin and says, 'O my Lord, I have committed another sin, please forgive me,'
and Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'alasays, 'My slave has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and
punishes for it, I therefore have forgiven my slave (his sin). Then he remains
without Committing any another sin for a while and then commits another sin
(for the third time) and says, 'O my Lord, I have committed another sin,
please forgive me,' and Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'alasays, 'My slave has known that he has a Lord Who
forgives sins and punishes for it I therefore have forgiven My slave (his sin),
he can do whatever he likes."

Abu Hurayra Radi Allahu anhu said: "The Prophet Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam was fair-skinned, as if he had been moulded in silver (i.e. completely unblemished, shining), and he had wavy hair." Tirmidhi narrated it in al-Shama'il but not in the Sunan.

Hazrat Safwaan bin Sulaim radiallaho ta'ala anhu narrates that Rasool Allah sallalaho alaihe wasallam was asked, "Can a believer be a coward? He said, "Yes, he can be coward. Then it was asked whether a believer could be a miser? He replied, "Yes, he can be a miser", it was then asked whether a believer could be a liar? He replied, "No, a believer cannot be a liar."

It is on the authority of Hazrat Abu Moosa Ash’ari (radi Allahu anhu) that the beloved Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) said, “I am Muhammad and Ahmed and I am the one who came after all the Prophets (Khaatimun Nabiyeen) and I am the one who will give Hashr to the creation (in other words all will be present before the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) on Maidaan-e-Hashr) and I am the Prophet of Mercy.” (Musnad Imam Ahmed – Muslim)

Assalaatu Wassalaamu Alayka Ya Rasoolallah Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam
Shamaa-il Tirmidhi, Chapter 053, Hadith Number 008 (375)
Anas Radiyallahu 'Anhu reports: "The day Nabi Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam came to Madinah, everything in Madinah became illuminated. (When the anwaar increased, it could be felt. In the dark nights of Ramadaan many a time because of the intensity of the Anwaaraat (illuminations), a natural illumination, was felt). The day when Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam passed away, everything of Madinah became dark. We had not yet dusted off the dust from our hands after the burial of Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam when we began to feel the change in our hearts."
Commentary
This does not mean that a change took place in their deeds and beliefs, but they missed the bounties of His Noble company and seeing His Inspiring Personality, and the Anwaar that were always present could not be benefited from anymore. Nowadays too the disciples of the mashaa-ikh (spiritual guide) also feel the difference when in the Shaykh's company and when not in his company. For this reason, in order to gain those Anwaar, one is made to strive in dhikr and muraaqabah (meditation-contemplation). Previously all this was not necessary. The visiting of the Jamaal of the entire universe (i.e. Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi.Wasallam) was enough for countless manifestations. It created such a status of Imaan and Ihsaan in a man which cannot be attained through countless rnujaahadaat (striving and exerting in spiritual upliftment). After becoming a Sahaabi, the love of Allah Ta'ala and His Rasul Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam became so overwhelming that one's own life and wealth ceased to have value. The lives of the Sahaabah Radiyallahu 'Anhum are testimony to this.

Usamah ibn Zayd Radi Allahu anhu said: "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam , I do not see you fasting in any other month like you fast in Sha'ban.' He Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam said, 'That is a month to which people do not pay attention, between Rajab and Ramadan, and it is a month in which deeds are lifted up to the Lord of the Worlds. I like for my deeds to be lifted up when I am fasting.'" (Narrated by al-Nasa'i). According to a report narrated by Abu Dawood, He said: "The most beloved of months for the Messenger of Allah (Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) to fast in was Sha'ban, and his fasting in Sha'ban was continuous with his fasting in Ramadan." (Classed as saheeh by al-Albani)

Narrated 'Abdullah Radi Allahu anhu: I asked the Prophet Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam "Which deed is the dearest to God?" He Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam replied, "To offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times." I asked, "What is the next (in goodness)?" He Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam replied, "To be good and dutiful to your parents"...
