ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam ABDULLAH. Radi Allahu anhu
The Father Of The Beloved Prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. “ They the (Ahle-Kitab) say, “ Become Jews or Christians that you may be rightly guid3ed! But say to them; “ But we follow the religion of Abraham, as a hanif (the upright) and he was never of the polytheists.” (Surah Baqarrah, Verse 135) Some writers and followers of other sects have sated that the parents of our beloved prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam had beliefs incompatible to Islam. However, the beliefs of the Ahle Sunnat wal Jammat is that the progeny of all Prophets alayhis 'salam, including the beloved Prophets Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam , had the right Unitarian beliefs and led impeccable lives and commanded the highest reputation and respect in their communities. Abdullah, son of Abdul Mutallib and father of our beloved prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, was the descendant of 3 Prophets alayhis 'salam. Drinking and other vices were common and socially acceptable pastimes during his time, but he kept away from all these and there is very strong evidence that support these views. Hadrat Ibrahim alayhis 'salam was the fore-bearer of Abdullah. Defendant of Ismail, alayhis 'salam Hadrat Ibrahim’s alayhis 'salam son, founded various branches of the Quraish, the dominant trading tribe of Arabia. In the third generation of Hadrat Ibrahim alayhis 'salam’s family, the second son of Ismail, called Qaider achieved great prominence. ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam In Hebrew the word’ Qaider denotes ‘sombre’ or ‘dark’. In Arabic lexicon contains the word ‘qadr’ or’qadurat’ meaning blackness or sombre mood. Qaider, however, was an affectionate name conferred by Ismail on his son as he was always away from home and this caused worry and heartache to the father. However, the nickname ‘Qaider’may have been conferred because of his dark complexion. The historical significance of Qaider name may be noted from the fact that it is mentioned on Torah, Assyrian and Greek books as well as Arian, Ptolemy and pliny give clear evidence of the existence of the Qaider tribes. Qaidaries were first mentioned in Hadrat Dawood’s Zabur, prophet Suleman in one of his odes also describes the tents of the Qaidaries people as of dark colour and mentions his complexion to be dark as the dark tents of the Qaidaries.. These tents were made of dark quilt cloth and a few generations before our beloved Prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam time, Makka itself was a city of black tents with no stone or mud houses in existence. The people of his time worshipped idols and the ka’aba had long been turned into a house of many gods. Abdullah believed in one God and was among a small group of Unitarians called ‘hunafa’. ‘Hanif’ appears repeatedly in the Glorious Qur’an as the name of those who possess the real true religion. This is mentioned in Surah Baqarrah, verse 135;
“ They the (Ahle-Kitab) say, “ Become Jews or Christians that you may be rightly guid3ed! But say to them; “ But we follow the religion of Abraham, as a hanif (the upright) and he was never of the polytheists.” This verse directed to the people of the books’infact gives answer about Abdullah’s belief. The Glorious Qur’an further states; “ Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but Hanif Muslim and he was not of the polytheists.” (Surah al-Imran; 67)
Abdullah obviously believed in One Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala but not in the beliefs of Jews or Christians, whose books had been altered. ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam To be continued......

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam Abdullah was uncommonly handsome but he was attractive not just for his looks. It is narrated that once Qatila Bint Naufal, who was young at the time, came before Abdullah and laying her hand on him offered herself in marriage to him. Abdullah repulsed her and left. Meanwhile he married Amena and she conceived the beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. Qatila was the sister of Waraqqa bin Naufal whose name is frequently mentioned in the Divine books. Later, on seeing Qatila again, Abdullah remarked to her, “ Do you still wish to marry me?”She said, "No! When I saw you on previous occasion, I observed a light (Noor-e-Muhammadi) on your forehead and I wanted to get it. This light I no longer see in your forehead. She whose share it was has taken it.”In fact the ‘Noor –e -Muhammadi went from the forehead of Abdullah into the forehead of Amena on the very night of their marriage. Ibn Abbas Radi Allahu anhu has reported another incident that when Abdul Mutallib was taking his son Abdullah to arrange his marriage, they passed by a learned Jewess belonging to the tribe of Bani Khatham. Her name was Fatima bint Mur and she was well – read in the scriptures of the Jews. She observed a remarkable radiance in the forehead of Abdullah and calling him to one side, said, “ I will present you with one hundred camels.”Abdullah recited; “ Death is better than sin and I will not do that which I cannot admit with clear conscience.”He added; “ How can I meet your unholy desire? A pure man guards his hour and faith with full strength.” When Abdullah returned after his marriage with Amena, he chanced to see Fatima again. She said, “ O Abdullah where have you been since I last saw you?”Abdullah replied, “ I married Amena the daughter of Wahb bin Abd Munaf and stayed with my in-laws for three days.”On hearing this, the Jewess answered, “ By Allah, I am no loose woman. Noticing the Light of prophecy on your , forehead, I wished to receive it in My womb. But Allah has transferred it to where it pleased Him.”These observations leave no doubt that though the women generally in that period of ignorance were inclined to immorality, but Atiqa bint Naufal and Fatima Bint Mur were not entirely moved by carnal desire. They were not only attracted to the physical but also the spiritual beauty of Abdullah. The intense regard for moral purity was certainly developed in Abdullah by disciplinary training at home. There is no doubt whatsoever that, as with all families of prophets alayhis 'salam, there had existed an unbroken tradition of Moral rectitude through the times of Ibrahim (Abraham), Yakub (jacob0, and Ishaque (Issac). Abdullah and his son, the Beloved prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam justly landed the purity of the ancestors. Hadrat Anas Radi Allahu anhureported that the beloved prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam recited the following verses of the Glorious Qur’an. “ No doubt Allah sent among you His apostles and raised them from the most exalted and noblest families among you.”For those who genuinely seek truth, the above is sufficient to prove the impeccable progeny of the Prophets alayhis 'salam of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.
