As viewing the profiles of forum members, i noticed that most of members have taken byat to different shaykhs.
Everyone will have his/her own reason to byat that particular respected shaykh.
Respected brothers and sisters, pl. share with all why u took byat with ur sheikh? and u can also share any karamat of ur sheikh if u like.

i basically took bayt with Shaykh-ul-islam because my husband is also his murid, but also because i didn't know of anyone better than him at the time and still i don't see anyone. i believe that my pir is the best and that's about it. also i believe that my pir will save me in akhira which we will all definitely be needing.

There are a few organisations that I totally disagree with in their way of recruiting Mureeds, they make Mureeds by forcing or pressurising people into becoming Mureeds.
Alhumdohliullah I was and will always be a great lover of the Ashrafi Family and always had my heart set on Huzoor Ghazi E Millat and when I did become a Mureed it was one of the happiest days of my life

I took bayah with my peer murshid at the age of 16 together with my 2 brothers and an aunt , my forefathers both maternal and paternal side did bayah with the silsila Naushahiya so it was natural I did the same yet my eldest brother has done bayah with Peer Karam Shah Rehmatullahi ’Alaih saying this I have great respect for Peer Murshid like Shaykh ul Islam, Ghazi Millat, Mawlana Ilyas Attar Qadri sahib

Assalaamu Alaykum,
I am still waiting to do bya'aa. What actually changes when you do bya'aa, like have you felt any changes in your life, how long does it take, what are your responsibilities towards your shaykh now. etc
Wassalaamu Alaykum

Brother aaq once you do Bayt with a proper and kamil Vali ALLAH your life changes and the buzz is unbelievable
BUT the main thing is you firstly have to help yourself to try to practice your Deen and thats when a Peer comes in to the equation, they are your spiritual guide

Mashallah I have done bayt with the best of the best in this day and age, (anybody who doesnt think that about their own bayt, then they need to start asking themselves why did they do bayt with them if there is someone better out there). A saying of Hazrat Bayazeed Bustami Rehmatullahi ta'ala alay means that if someone is bayt in one place and has his tawajo (concentration) at another buzurg then nor will he gain from his peer neither the one he has got his tawajo towards. My murshids face is a shining armour it is a shaan of a true wali that when you look at their blessed face then you remember Allah Paak, when u look at their actions it is sunnat-e-mustafa. Subhanallah what more can someone ask for. My peer sahib are very Low profile, and only few people know of them here in the UK, they do not give ijazat to put their details up anywhere and any form of advertising or any reason for anyone to get a bad impression, they like to stick with old ways. But just all you guys pray that I get a well paid job soon as am unemplyed at the moment - tut tut , then inshallah I will hold a gathering in my house where I can invite alot of you brothers and you can all benefit from them, and do ziyarat of this great shaykh. (Sorry sisters might not be able to accomodate for you lot, well there might be room in the kitchen if you want to cook for us, ;D) Jazakallahu khayrun

When I took the bayt what can I say the feeling was undescribable, I was shaking and could feel being purified, the shaytaan was attacking me well bad, I was trembling and couldnt get the words out my mouth even things we recite everyday! But after it felt great.
(Look even in the dunya when u go to get purified look how much shaytaan attacks you, think about time of death, the shaytaan will try anything and will be desperate to make us not get them kalima words out our mouths, but then murshid paak will appear and help us inshallah, but we need to prepare ourselves first. May Allah give us all hidayat and taufeeq of achay amal, Ameen)

I have asked that to some of these groups and they replied there is nothing wrong with forcing somebody to get purified. But only if they are accepting that peer, and then they force them. The other day my brother wanted to do bayt, so i told him to do istikhara of whether he does it with my peer or the other peer he has in mind. I never ever thought of forcing him, or saying bad about the other peer. So he soke to somebody from the other peers group, and told them and when he mentioned my peer the compliment they gave was 'well he doesnt look like a fake peer' that was about a very big buzurg, and a friend of mine who knows that they are a proper alim and peer, and instead of complimenting them properly and because of wanting more members in their group he said that.

I dont know why this people wanna become the thekedaar of Islam.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuI took my bay'at after knowing the extreme importance of having a Shaikh. Without a Shaikh one is at loss. To have and to know the real indepth taste of our Beautiful Deen e Haq we must obligatorily have A Pir o Murshid. Taking bay’ah is a must that must not be taken lightly as the originality of this “bay’ah” goes all the way to the our Beloved Nabi Sayyidinah Muhammad Sallal Laahu Ta'alaa Alaihe Wa Sallam when he took the oath from his companions under the tree (Bay’at al-Ridwan). Today I just fall upon this and am sharing for those who may not be aware of the what, why and who concerning bay'at: How important is it to have a Shaikh (Peer) and how should you go about finding one?

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam I took Bay'ah as I felt it was the right time for me and also it is spiritual guidance and It was the best thing I did as I have noticed the difference spiritually in my life. I am Murid Of Hadrat Shaykh ul Islam and to me I feel I was guided to them By Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'alaI ask for help when distress or upheaval in my life and I just have to think of them or take their name and I see them in my dream guiding me in what to do , soothing me with their calm words and Nurani face and automatically I feel a sense of calm as I know the directions of what steps to take. I feel very privileged and honored to have them as my guide and My Pir O Murshid as I understand their excellence and High spiritual caliber and I sometimes feel not worthy to be their Mureed. After taking Bay'ah you sort of become attached and part of a big family of murids and feel special and you atomically know the significance and the change that takes place in your life and you feel safe and know you belong, and are guided on the right path, I advised and recommend it strongly to everyone.

Brother saalik, hope u dont mind me asking but who is your murshid? Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemBrother Naseer, my Pir o Murshid was very humble thus always kept a low profile. He was Mureed and Khalifah of the great Muballigh e Islam, Mawlaanah Shah Muhammad Abdul Aleem Siddiqui al Qadri al Madani Rahmatullahu Alai (Khalifa of A'ala Hazrat Imam Ahmad Razaa Khan Radi Allahu Ta'alaa Anhu). He had ijaazat to give Bay'ah for the Qadri Silsilah and to also guide Zikr for any silsilah even though being initiated to Silsilah Qadriah which means that anyone from any silsilah can attend our zikr. He also got khilaafat from the following Mashaikh: 1. Shaikh Bakhsullah Shah Rahmatullahu Alai (Father of Baba Mushtakh from India),
2. Mawlaanah Shah Ahmad Noorani Siddiqui al Qadri Rahmatullahu Alai.
3. Pir Khwaajah Afzal Nizami (Sajadah Nasheen of the Dargah of Shaikh Nizamuddin Awliyah, Mehboob e Ilaahi, Radi Allahu Ta'alaa Anhu). He left this world at the ripe age of 82 on the 21st of February 2001 (27th Zil Qad 1421). During his last days and moments he kept repeating: "Mein So Jaaoun Yaa Mustapha Kehte Kehte, Khule Ankh Salle Alaa kehte Kehte"
