SPLITTING OF THE MOON
The Splitting of the Moon in two is another great miracle that the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam performed. This miracle is known as the Shaqul Qamar. The evidence concerning the splitting of the moon is even present in the Quran. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says in the Glorious Quran, The last day is near and the moon has been split. Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Haq Muhadith Dehlwi (radi Allahu anhu) has quoted this verse in his distinguished book Madarijun Nubuiwat in which he states that the Mufasireen (commentators of the Quran) have all agreed that this refers to the splitting of the moon by the beloved Rasool Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam.
There is no doubt that the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam split the moon in two and the same is evident from the Hadith Shareef. It is on the authority of Hazrat Ibn Masud Radi Allahu anhu that in the time of the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, the moon was split into two. One portion of the moon was on one side of the mountain and the other on the other side. This narration has been mentioned by a large group of Sahaba-e-Kiraam. They say that in the time of the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, the kufaar-e-Quraish asked the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam to show them a miracle. They said that if the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam was true in his claim that he was the Nabi, then he should split the moon in two. The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam then pointed towards the moon and it split into two parts and the people saw the mountain between the two parts of the moon. The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam then asked them to testify and they said that what he did was magic. One person from amongst those present said that if it is magic, then it will only be seen by those present at the spot where the moon was split, so the people began to question all those who had come from other cities and towns and they found that every one, including those outside the City of Makkah had seen the moon split in two. Subhaanallah!!!
More miracles to come...

BRINGING BACK THE SUN With the exception of splitting the moon in two, the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam also brought back the sun after it had already set. Hazrat Asma bint Umais Radi Allahu anha reports that the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam was resting his blessed head on the lap of Hazrat Ali Radi Allahu anhu and Hazrat Ali Radi Allahu anhu had not yet performed his Asr Salaah and the sun had set. When the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam awoke, he asked Hazrat Ali Radi Allahu anhu if he had prayed his Asr Salaah and Hazrat Ali Radi Allahu anhu replied in the negative. The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam then said, O Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, Your (Ali) was in the obedience of You and Your Rasool (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Allow the sun to rise for him. The sun immediately came back up after setting. Hazrat Asma Radi Allahu anha states, I saw the sun setting and then I saw it come up again and its rays spread over the mountains and the land. This incident has been accepted as authentic and is definitely a miracle of the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam.
More to come..

WATER GUSHES FROM HIS BLESSED FINGERS
One of the famous miracles of the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallamis that of water. Such miracles were performed during numerous occasions, in the presence of huge groups of Sahaba-e-Kiraam. Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu anhu reports that once close to the time of Asr, the Sahaba came to the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and mentioned that they did not have enough water for wudhu. A bowl of water was presented to Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. He Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam placed his blessed fingers into the water and springs of water began to gush from between his blessed fingers. Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu anhu states that the water became so abundant that all those present made wudhu with this water. Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu anhu was asked about how many people were present on that day and he said three hundred.
More to follow inshAllah...

FOOD MADE ABUNDANT
Just as the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam caused water to become abundant, he also caused food to become abundant. The most famous narration in this discussion is the one of Hazrat Jaabir (radi Allahu anhu). Hazrat Jaabir (radi Allahu anhu) states that he went to his wife and asked if there was any food at home since he had seen signs of hunger on the blessed face of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). His wife took out a small bag in which there was only one Sac of wheat. With the exception of this, there was only one weak baby goat. He says, My wife ground the wheat into flour and I slaughtered the goat and she started to cook it. I then went to the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and said that my wife had ground some flour and I sacrificed a baby goat for her to prepare. I requested that the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) bring with him a few companions to my home, to partake in the meal.
The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) then announced aloud, Jaabir has prepared a meal for us all. Let us go to his home. The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) told Hazrat Jaabir Radi Allahu anhu that the food should not be moved from the fire and the flour which was kneaded for making bread should be left as it was until he arrived. The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) took one thousand (1000) Sahaba-e-Kiraam with him to Hazrat Jaabir's home. On arrival, Hazrat Jaabir Radi Allahu anhu presented the food and bread to the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wassallam). The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) placed his blessed saliva into the pot and on the dough. He said that Hazrat Jaabir's wife should get one more person to help her prepare the bread and that she should not look into the pot of food when dishing it out. Hazrat Jaabir (radi Allahu anhu) says, By Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, The entire one thousand Sahaba ate a full stomach and the meat was still the same in the pot and the dough still remained as it was. There are also numerous other narrations like this, such as the one during the battle of Tabook when the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) prayed over a small amount of dates, which fed more than seventy thousand people.
more to come..

ANIMALS SHOWING RESPECT TO HIM
The Beloved Rasool Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam has been blessed with such excellence, that even the animals know and recognise him. They too, show respect to him. There are numerous narrations where the animals conversed with Rasoolullah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, such as when the camel prostrated before him and presented its complaint against its owner etc. It is in certain narrations that the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said, There is no creation in the skies and on the earth that does not know I am Allah' Subhanahu wa Ta'alas Rasool.
It has been narrated that once Hazrat Safeena Radi Allahu anha strayed away from the Muslim army and could not find her way back to where they were. She saw a lion approaching her and said who she was. She asked the lion to take her towards where the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam was and the lion took her to the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. This shows how even animals respected those who were close to Rasoolullah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. There is also a narration in Madarijun Nubuiwat Shareef which explains that on the Day of Fateh Makkah, a huge flock of pigeons formed an umbrella over the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and he made dua for barkat for them. It is also reported that when the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam was migrating to Madinah, he rested in the Cave of Thaur where a spider spread its web over the entrance of the cave to divert the kufaar and a pigeon laid its eggs outside the cave to show that it was an old cave and none was inside. It has been reported that all the pigeons in the Haram are from the offspring of those pigeons which laid their eggs outside the cave of Thaur. *Subhaanallah*

TREES & STONES OBEYING HIM
With the exception of animals, even the stones, plants and trees etc. recognise the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. It is narrated on the authority of Ummul Momineen Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa Radi Allahu anha that the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said, From the time that revelation started to descend upon me, every tree and stone began saying As Salaamu Alaika Ya Rasoolallah to me.
It has been reported on the authority of Hazrat Buraida Aslami (radi Allahu anhu) that a villager once came to the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and requested to see a Mujiza (miracle). The Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallamdirected him toward a tree and said that he should tell the tree that Rasoolullah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam is calling it. When the villager passed this command to the tree, it began to move in all directions and finally uprooted itself from the ground and dragged itself to the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and said, As Salaamu Alaika Ya Rasoolallah. Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam the villager then requested that the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam command the tree to return to its place and the tree did as commanded. The villager then asked permission to make Sajdah to the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam which he refused. He then requested to kiss the blessed hands and feet of the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and he (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) permitted him to do this.
Hazrat Anas (radi Allahu anhu) reports, The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam once took some stones in his blessed hands and they began to make tasbeeh, which we were able to hear. He then gave them in the hands of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (radi Allah anhu) and they continued to read Tasbeeh in his hands as well. When the stones were put into our hands, they stopped reading the Tasbeeh. (Madarij)

NEW BORN CHILD TESTIFIES TO NABUIWAT
A companion of the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam Hazrat Yamaami (radi Allahu anhu) states, Once I went home and saw that the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam was at my home. I experienced a very miraculous episode whilst I was there. A person brought a new born child to the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. The Beloved Rasool Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam spoke to the new born child and asked, Who am I? The child said, You are Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said, You have spoken the truth. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala bless you with barkat in your age. After this, the child did not talk until he was of age to talk.

ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
GIVING CURE TO THE SICK AND BRINGING THE DEAD BACK TO LIFE
Hazrat Qatadah bin Numan Radi Allahu anhu eye was injured during the battle of Uhud and the extent of the damage was so severe that the eye had come out of the socket and was hanging on his face. He went to the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and said, I have a wife who I love dearly and I am embarrassed to go before her with my eye in this condition. The Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam put his eye back into the socket with his blessed hand and said, O Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, Allow this eye to be well healed. This eye of Hazrat Qatadah (radi Allahu anhu) became more beautiful than the other eye and he could see with it better than before.
It is reported that once the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam invited a man to accept Islam. He asked the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam to raise his daughter from the dead. The Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam asked to be taken to her grave. The man took the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam there and he brought her back from the dead.
