Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuBayt al-Lahm, (Bethlehem, then part of Syria) where Prophet 'Isa (Jesus) bin Maryam alayhis-salaam was born.Detail explanation from islam786.org: Once again the burraq took off with the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and Jibrail alayhis-salaam. Once again it stopped when it reached a land where the palaces of Syria became visible to them, and the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam dismounted and prayed two rakahs. This was in Bayt al-Lahm, (Bethlehem, then part of Syria) where Prophet 'Isa (Jesus) bin Maryam alayhis-salaam was born. Hooray finally someone got it right, yes sister dust of madina you are right it is Bayt lahm (Bethlehem), but your narration is not what I read.
on the night of 'Isra' and Mi'raj', the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam was ordered by Gibraeel alayhis salam to pray two rak'ats in Bayt Lahm (Bethlehem), and Gibraeel alayhis salam asked him: "Do you know where you prayed? When the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam asked him where, he told him: "You prayed where 'Isa alayhis 'salamwas born."
Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
