Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Since this is an Islamic Forum, it becomes obvious for us to use the correct Islamic Ettiquettes like Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu , Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu etc., where required in our threads/posts/replies.
When we are using Qur'anic Aayats in our posts, it is preferable that Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem is inserted before them or at the beginning of the post(s).
These are also parts of the rules set by our Respected Admin, Brother Ghulam Mustufa, which we are required to follow:
Instead of SWT : we must write (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) after writing Allah.
Instead of SAW : we must write (Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) after writing Muhammad or the Beloved/Noble/Blessed Prophet/Messenger.
Instead of RA : (Radi Allahu ta'ala anhu/Rahmatullahi 'alayh) - Sahaba/Awliya-e-Kiram
Instead of AS : (Alayhis 'salam) - Ambiya-e-Kiram (Prophets)
Instead of Holy (Prophet) : Noble, Beloved, Dearest, Blessed
Instead of Holy (Qur'an) : Qur'an al-Kareem, al-Qur'an, Qur'an Majid, Noble Qur'an, Glorious Qur'an, Qur'an-e-Paak or Qur'an al Hakeem
When we copy articles from other websites we must take our time and properly read the contents and do the necessary modifications (adding Subhanahu wa Ta'ala , Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam , alayhis 'salam , Radi Allahu anhu , Rahmatullahi 'alayh ) before posting.
Jazaak Allah Khairan for your co-operation.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAnother reminder to be noted for all those who have been asked to use appropriate User names and requests have been ignored. Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ALL USERS Usernames: 1. Users must not take the 'names' of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) as usernames (e.g Ar-Rahman, God or Lord). 2. Users must not take usernames which have racist, sexual or anti-Islam connotations. 3. Users must not take usernames which associate partners with Allah (subhanahu wa Ta'ala). Any usernames deemed offensive or insulting to Muslims/Islam or inappropriate for an Islamic Forum, by the Moderators and Administrators of the forum, will be changed, or removed completely. Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Please mention your gender & location in your profile and use a convenient user/display name on the forum.
This is displayed on the main page in the Info Center and also scrolling at the top. It is because many members have boldly refused to change their display name when requested by moderators but still we didn't took any action. Our leniency have been wrongly interpreted by some.
There's nothing more simple to have a convenient display name, one just has to go to his Modify Profile page and change the Display Name to a convenient one and apply the change. Login/username and display name are two different things; login or username is for login on the forum whereas display name is the name that is displayed in the mini profile at the same place where the login/username appears when it is not changed.
Some members (Muslims and non Muslims) have refused to change their display names which were inappropriate for an Islamic Forum and they refuted by pointing to so and so having ridiculous display names in their mini profile. Due to the fault of our own members we had to let go. I remember a member who had one of the Name of Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta'ala as username and refused to changed it with quite the same argument as mentioned above together with saying that she personally doesn't find anything inconvenient in it so why should she change it. She later deleted her account to save her from being banned. The ego took over the self.
With a convenient display name at least it's not off-putting to address someone as Brother or Sister (display name). It's not a humiliation to change it and also it costs nothing to change it, one has to simply analyze and ask: is it or not the wicked nafs which is refusing.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
The consequences are fatal when we abbreviate Darood-e-Paak after writing the Blessed Titles and Names of our Beloved Master Sayyidinah Muhammad Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alyhi Wa Sallam:
www.ashraf786.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=duas&action=display&thread=8535
When abbreviating Darood-e-Paak is such then omitting it voluntarily out of neglect or laziness is worst.
When we copy articles from other websites we must take our time and properly read the contents and do the necessary modifications (adding Subhanahu wa Ta'ala , Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam , alayhis 'salam , Radi Allahu anhu , Rahmatullahi 'alayh) after the Blessed Names of the Anbiya (Alyhimus Salaam), the Sahabah e Kiraam (Radi Allah Ta'ala Anhum) and the Awliyah e Kiraam (Ramtullahi Ta'ala Alayhim) before posting.
