bismillahirrohmanirrohim assalamualaikum assolatuwassala mualaika ya rasulullah
Imam Shafie was the third of the mazhab imam, i think bro pbuh knows this right? i did ask similar question before but nobody answer this. i merely want to clear some doubt. because Bediuzzaman said Nursi has a commentary of ALQURAN ALKARIM with the appelation Risale i Nur. is the tafsir reliable? that is why i ask whether he is a Sunni or not. it is an innocent question

I've read a few books by the aforementioned author and he seems 100% Sunni to me.

Hazrat Bediuzzaman Said Nursi was a true WalliUllah .He was 100% a Sunni ,and he sacrificed his all life in service of Islam. You should read his Risalah Nur collection.

sub7anallah hadret allama baiduzzaman said nursi studied with the shuyukh of nur and van southern eastern turkeye, he was politician, a scientist and further more an alim of den studying the classic sciences. he lived in the period of the attaturk revolution and was the person acknowledged as keeping religion alive in turkey. the attaurks forbidded the azan to be spoken in arabic favouring turkish and wanted to do away with islam completey, however it was nursi may allah be pleased with him thst said, that islam was not seprate from turkish identiy and that turkish history was synonomous with islamic histoory therefore one could not exist without the other" this is why they adopted the french liacist system as that was the system employed by the french fremasons, but for Allama Nursi this was a means of keeping islam alive amongst the masses and the poor (hamdulillah) I was privilaged to meet one of nursi's students when i was in northern Cyrus, all i can say the guy had pure khaalis aqeeeda mayb allah bless all the true shuyukh inshallah

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Heres what it says on our website regarding the book which the author wrote
In addition, numerous collections of books on the interpretation of the Qur'an, some of which cover as many as forty or even seventy volumes-written by meticulous scholars of the highest intelligence and learning-expound with proofs countless virtues of the Qur'an and its subtleties and mysteries, and disclose and affirm its numerous predictions. Among them, the one hundred and thirty treatises of the Risale-i Nur explain each virtue and subtlety of the Qur'an, such as its allusions to the scientific and technical wonders of modern civilization like trains and aircrafts and electricity, and its indirect references to future victories of Muslims and the history of the Companions after the Most Beloved Prophet (Upon Him be Peace and Blessings), and the meaningful and mysterious design of its letters. All this means setting a seal on the fact that the Qur'an al kareem is a miracle with no equals and the Word of the Knower of the Unseen, which is the tongue of the world of the Unseen in this visible world of corporeality.
