Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Respected imam sahib,
I have two queations
1)- Iblees (devil) has the ability to misguide humans. he puts intentions in one's mind/heart to do that (evil deed), he is a jinn. Do other jinns also have this abilityto guide/misguide anyone?
2)-When we say that everything what we do or what is happened to us either good or bad is written by allaha Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, then why we will punished due to bad deeds and will be rewarded due to good deeds? and why we blame others when they do wrong with us or hurt us?
jazakallaha

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam 1) Yes they do. Have you heard of the hadith where the shayatin are chained up during the month of Ramadhan? Well that is what it refers to. It refers to the agents of Shaytan, who can be human or jinn. These are what are chained up in the month of Ramadhan. 2) We have the power ( ikhtiyar to do good, or to go in the opposite direction and do bad). If we do bad, then we will be punished, unless you are made to do bad. An example of this, is to lie to save your own life, or eat haram meat in order to prevent death. In each of these cases we are not in a position to bargain, but we have to stay alive, and therefore commit them. In such cases there is an exception. On the other hand we are not made to do anything. It is up to us whether we do a particular act or not. In other words we have the choice. If we chose to do the correct thing, then we are rewarded for that, just as deposits are made into a bank account, but if we had the choice and still did bad, then we have to answer for that on the Day of Judgement. Now whether Allah the Almighty forgives us for that wrong depends upon His Mercy. If He wills He will punish us, to which we are liable, for doing that wrong, and if He wills He will Forgive us, but we still did that wrong, and we still knew it was wrong. We knew because in the Qur'an, Allah the Almighty warned us from the hellfire of doing bad deeds, and He gave us good news for doing good deeds. This is where we are the judge, either to do them or not. To do them, and be punished according to the Book, or not do them and be in reward of paradise. This is called belief ( iman). Please make two separate posts as you have asked two different questions, which can then be saved under two different headings, in the Archives Section. (As this makes it easy for reference purposes.) Jazak'allah for your questions. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
