Assalamualaykum
i suffer from asthma and have tried wearing the niqab but i find it difficult to breathe while wearing. also it irritates my eyes as i have allergies that make my eyes sore. is it then ok that i don't wear it as i have tried several times but i really can't seem to breathe when wearing it. this is a huge problem for me as i really like the niqab but i do wear hijaab as there is no reason why i can't wear that. please clarify this matter for me, and may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala bless you as i seem to have asked you alot of questions in one night!!! i really do appreciate your answers and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Jazakallah khair

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam It is o.k. to ask as many questions as you like, but it is the delay on my part which I apologise for. May Allah the Almighty give us all the tawfiq to make good contribution for His pleasure. (Amin). You are o.k. not to wear the niqab, if it effects your medical condition which say you have, as asthma. As long as you are covered up from the head to the feet, and even if your hands, feet and face show, you are still safe, and you neednt worry about anything. In todays society where people have false propaganda in connection to Islam, and there are eradications from organisations because of Islamic dress, and other issues which destroy the image of our religion, as it is falsely portrayed in the media, then the scholars have been lenient towards some of the seemingly rigid principles in Islam. This is another way of fighting off false accusations, and imputations against Islam, which are portrayed to the west. Wearing the niqab, and wearing the hijab, is one of many of these issues. May Allah the Almighty help us all to do all we can to protect our religion, and may He also safeguard the honour of the Muslims as a whole. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
