If someone bring amulet(from some one apparently looking pious man) and does not know what is in it. And if amulet seeking services of jin(may be from right one and not for cause of any harm). He then does not wear amulet(or not do whatever was asked to do with it) and then after some days he destroy the amulet without making use of it. Then has this man commited any sin? If yes then What should be done to repent?
Simlilarly, if someone make use of any taweez that apparently does not consists of any thing wrong and just consists of arabic words and person does not know what is this all and belive it to be taken from a pious man. But later on just get rid of them(suspecting what they might contain because every body even does not understand arabic as well). so he get rid of them immediately. Has this person commited sin or shirk? Is all good deeds of this person will go in vain? How to repent in this case?

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam If a person request's an amulet, because there may have been black magic ( jadoo) - in relation to a jinn, and then this person went ahead and destroyed that amulet then he is at fault for wasting the efforts to find someone to make this amulet, to have it, to use it, and also to destroy it. There is also some sin involved because he did not serve the purpose it was made for. It had names, and words in it, that should never have been destroyed. This person must repent ( tawbah) in front of Allah the Almighty sincerely for doing so, and then by the Will of the Almighty He will be forgiven. If he receives a taweez from a person who is qualified in making one, knows that it is real, believes it to be true, then gets rid of it, then he has done wrong, and should repent. However, if it isnt, then one should seek the correct advice, from the right person, ask him whether it is true, and if it isnt, then he will be right. Otherwise the correct advice should be sought. There is absolutely no question of shirk being involved in this instance. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
