Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam Yes that is quite correct. Other than the qualities you have mentioned about reading Surah-al-Fatah, there are many more which we have not even probably heard of. However, once recitation has taken place, one should try and commit oneself to that particular recitation, as it's effects can only blossom once it is done sincerely. Jazak'allah for your question.
