Aslaam o laikum Imam sahib, I saw in a few threads that you told a few sisters to recite this wazifa '900x La Illaha Illa Anta Subhanaka Inni Kuntu Minazzalimeen w/11 times durood before and after' You said to start reciting it at the beginning of the month on a thursday/sunday. A friend of mine in a similar situation wanted to recite it but had a few questions. Beginning of what month (islamic/or?) did you want us to recite? plus if she starts on a thursday does she recite everyday afterwards or is it just one day of the month? does one has to do wudu in order to recite it or can it be read without it? I would really appreciate your answer. JazakAllah.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam It can be started at any time, as it must be read regularly every day without neglect. Once you have started to recite it, then you must continue doing so, as much so, even though your problem becomes solved. It will be ineffective, if you read it one day, and then miss a day, and so forth. You must pray your five times salah, as well as reciting this wazifah. If it is for a particular occurance, it need not matter what day it is started on, although the reciter must recite it sincerely i.e. regularly. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
