Assalam-o-Alaikum
Sir, I looked up the questions archive and couldn't find any question relevant to mine.I wanted to ask that if we women, wear loose trousers ,would it fall within the limits of Islam.Obviously I ndertsand that a gown is better in ay case but on occassions and especially in western countries it might not be possible.
Jazakullah for your time. Aini

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam Loose trousers are fine, as long as they are not too revealing. They should normally be covered with the top that you wear, and that applies to working women who have rules in the workplace against the principles of Islam. However at home, it is normal to wear your own clothing (libas), like salwar kameez, kurta pyjama, or any other Islamic clothes. Rather having to face the trouble of your family, one should be aware of the consequences which this may lead to. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
