Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemAssalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuI recently heard of a "Noor Namah" that is something like Milaad Shareef. According to my father-in-law, their family used to recite/preform the Noor Namah when he was very little, but I think it died down. I looked it on the net and found the 2 link that mention Noor-Namah. 1. books.google.com.au/books?id=WW8KvLcuNqAC&pg=PA96&lpg=PA96&dq=Noor+Nama&source=web&ots=lbu-U98QEF&sig=YW1C8FPOfcKul6r663sY6Y6kN9Q&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=5&ct=result#PPA96,M1 [Page 96, last 2 lines] 2. www.myasa.net/sufindia/sheikh-ul-alam%20hazrat%20noor-uddin%20wali.html[Books: Rishi-Nama and Noor-Nama are collections of his teachings and anecdotes] From the 1st link, it refers to "Noor Namah (Indo-Trinidadian ritual) and Maulood (Meelad Shareef)". From the 2nd link, it tells of the author of the book. Since I am Fiji-born and my great-grandfathers came to Fiji a couple of 100 years ago and were of Indian descent (India/Bangladesh/Pakistan etc), I am thinking/hoping that it is still being practiced and someone on this forum may know about it. It is apparently something like Meelad Shareef, celebrating the Noor of our Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. Brothers and Sisters, if anyone can please provide me with references in relation to the above, it will be very much appreciated. Jazzak Allahu Khairan for everyone's input in advance. Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Jazzak-Allahu Khairan for everyone's prompt replies. Now that I know the book does exist and people know about it, my dilemma extends to obtaining this book.
Sr Nomee mentioned that's it's in Punjabi. I can sort of understand Punjabi, but if Punjabi is written in English (Transliteration), then I am all good with the book.
I don't think it's available here in Melbourne, Australia and even if it is, it's probably with very few households.
Guess my biggest dilemma is being able to buy this book (where-ever it may be located) or be able to download it if it's available.
Looking forward to Sr Nomee's post after her search along with all other members' valuable input.
Jazzak Allahu Khairan.
