Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam Yes, there are many du'as including the ahad namah, which can be placed on the chest of the deceased, or those that can be written on the shroud. They will protect him from the calamities of the grave, ease the question and answer, by the munkir and nakir, and Insha'Allah asisst him until the Day of Judgement. There is a research question regarding the ahad namah and it's origins. It is in the ask imam section. Please keep a look out for it, in the near future. Jazak'allah for your question.
