Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuSubhan'Allah, What a beautiful passionate thread. Jazak'Allah sister Ashiq e Rasool, for bringing all the ashiq's to express their love in their own way. I really enjoyed all the excellent replies, for me one thing I can say like sister rafia is that my life would be empty, devoured of love actually it would be like a wahabis life, praying fasting etc but no love in the heart for Nabi Kareem Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, can you imagine . I think we are very lucky that we are sunni's and we all have experienced this love because once you have it, it will never leave you.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuRight here are my feelings of love. Love for me is constant remembrance and practicing the sunnah and obeying it, its like a yearning , yearning for the love, loving what Nabi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam loves and hating what Nabi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam hates, and also hating the people who ridicule or insult him. The pain and hurt of when I read such insults is like a knife in my heart, thats how much I love Nabi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. I too get very moved by praying Salaato Salaam and when we do Ziyarat of Bal Mubarak, its like a miracle a part of Nabi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam is in front of me. How lucky are we.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam SubhanAllah! Beautiful replies and excellent poem from the heart of a true Ashiq Sayyad Sahib. You had me in tears Sister Rafia, I agree we are not capable to love our Beloved Prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, to the full extent that they deserve. See the beautiful speech at the end of this post. Sister Asfiya yes Our beloved Prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam is the walking talking Glorious Quran as they lived their life according to the laws of the Glorious Quran. Beautiful Salaato Salaams shared sister Farah Ashrafi I agree with you and brother Haarith, praying Salaato Salaam with the sincerity and deep felt love can move you no matter where in the world you are, and transcend you to Madina Shareef, at the blessed Rawda Mubarak. Sister Hajrah786 a beautiful post expressed. Yes hafiz sahib, you have spelt it right , but I want you to right in your own words what loving Our beloved Prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam means to you and what would your life and Islam be like without them and their love. I wait for your post brother Saalik. Sister star, I can relate to your passion loving everything, what our beloved prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam loved and disliking what they disliked , MashaAllah, that is an act of love and obedience. Jazak Allah Khair for all your replies. Keep on posting and spread the love. I had to share these beautiful words of my Pir O Murshid Hadrat Shaykh ul Islam with you all on the subject of loving our beloved prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and his beautiful blessed most exalted family the Ahl-e Bayt ( May Almighty Allah Blessings And Peace Be Upon Them.) “ Commenting on love, a very wonderful and beautiful saying has been said, which is a very noble and deep saying for those people who understand. It is said look, love the beloved Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, so your condition is such that you feel ashamed, understand the beloved Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam to be of such High Status and Greatness that you feel ashamed of loving Him as you are of such lowly status. Think that you have in fact insulted the Beloved Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallamby loving him because of your low worth. You should feel bashful (Ghairat) in calling him your Beloved. Therefore believe your Beloved Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam to be the Greatest of the Greatest, and include yourselves amongst the most contemptible of the contemptible. Friends, this is the true status of love.” SubhanAllah! ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam

ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam These beautiful poems from the heart have been written by a very Dear Blessed Brother and I had to share them with you all. Overcome in Madinah Overcome in Madinah, my sentiments are rare, The Rawdah before me, so difficult to bear,
Cleansed in Zamzam, fragrance I wear, The Garden of Heaven, for all to share,
The scourge of the grave, people do scare, Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam is my herald, why should I care,
Ill-fated come too, shaved are their hair, Backs to the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, how do they dare ?
Multitude daily visits, was the desired prayer, So said the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, "dont make it a fair"
Angels arrive daily, offer darud with care, No further opportunity, only once to spare,
Here rests the Blessed Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, I cannot but stare, And, best of Companions, the distinguished pair,
Acknowledged, the Blessed era, we did not shave, The encounter of "Alastu", our union was there,
Hesitant to ask; shy to shed a tear, "La Tanhar" does command, so dont be unfair,
Jannat al-Baqih, graves laid so bare, Such tribute for our heroes, I look indespair,
Cool breeze, green gardens, serene is the air, Brother aren't you going, your soul's already there. Thy Countenance
Nothing but thy countenance, occupies my world, Your likeness, O Beloved Rasul Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam found none in the world,
My eyes have thus searched, four corners of the world, Unique I attest, thou art this mortal world,
O longing eyes uphold respect, thus then observe his world, Tis the Countenance of the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, not an amusement world,
Sublime is thy beauty, look through the eye of the world, Such subtlety of thy beauty, thy shadow rejects the world,
Honour if granted, endowed the earthly world, The awe, the aura of thy dome, void is the heavenly world,
The Mercy of the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, has but embraced my world, None inferior more so than 'Khalid', ever found this world! ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam

Masya Allah, great thread and great response by members of this blessed forum.....
A Normal Muslim... Recognizes "Muhammad" by the name and pay respects to him because he is the Prophet.
A Salikin in the beginning of the spiritual journey..... Performs Mujahadah and struggle very hard day and night to love "Muhammad" because this salikin knows there's no way he could reach "Hadratul Quddus" without this "light"
A person endowed "Haqiqat" in his heart by the Almighty...... Sees this "Muhammadan" reality in his heart and just couldn't help himself without crying for the burning love already engulfed deep inside.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuSubhanallah a fantastic thread and great replies by everyone. I cant put in words :'(what life would be like without Rasullulah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam in our lives as I have gown up with loving them , my mother has always taught us to love and respect Rasulullah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam from the very beginning. Always in the car at home naats would be blasting out and attending milad shareef. We have always been encouraged to pray Durood shareef and Salato salaam. At night when we were small my mum used to read us a Hadith shareef at night and explain the meaning of each hadith shareef, then ask us question on it the next day. She also read us Rasulullah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam life story which i loved and found very interesting. I remember one thing she has always said to us, to warn us against wahabis, I am going to use that in my post to describe my love for prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam . we are Muslims and islam is our religion and Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam is the heart of our religion and without them then islam is not complete, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala loves Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam the most and because of them we have been created, we can not imagine that love, but we can see from the Kalima how much love Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala loves him by having his name next to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and on the throne, in namaz and why Durood Shareef is a beautiful gift for prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and why we pray it to return our thanks. Before every dua and prayer pray durood shareef and finish it of after with durood shareef so the dua gets accepted. We have gown up with that love, and i hope i can carry out that love in my home and teach my children the same. There is no islam without love for the prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam.

DUROOD-E-RADAWIYYA
SALLAL LAAHU ALAN NABIYIL UMMIYI WA AALIHI SALLAL LAAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM. SALAATAW WAS SALAAMAN ALAIKA YA RASOOLALLAH. The above Durood Shareef should be read 100 times after every Salaah if possible. Especially after Jummah Salaah, the men should stand together facing Medina Shareef and recite this Durood Shareef with absolute respect. The following benefits are derived from reciting Durood-e- Radawiyya: 1. The reciter is blessed with 300 Mercies of Almighty Allah. 2. Allah Almighty sends peace on him 2 000 times. 3. 5,000 good deeds are written in his Naama-e-Amaal. 4. 5,000 of his sins are forgiven. 5. His status is eleated by 5,000 times. 6. It will be written on his forehead that he is not a Hypocrite. 7. It will be written on his forehead that he is free from the Fire of Jahannum. 8. On the Day of Qayamah, he will be amongst the Shuhadaa (Martyrs). 9. He will gain Barakah in his wealth. 10. There will be Barakah in his children. 11. He will be strong over his enemies. 12. People will have love in their hearts for him. 13. He will see the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) in his dream. 14. He will leave this world with Imaan. 15. On the Day of Qiyaamah, Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) will shake hands with him. 16. The intercession of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) will be compulsory on him. 17. Almighty Allah will be pleased with him in such a way that he will never be displeased. WHAT IS TRUE LOVE?How a Sahabi showed love? I gurantee you if u listen to this bayaan sincerely by closing your eyes and pondering upon each work, Tears will start to flow from you eyes, due to the love of Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) uk.youtube.com/watch?v=kjBYVaxMfdAuk.youtube.com/watch?v=dCev1FVSw6E

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Proud was I to be born a Muslim and follower of Islam. Proud was I to think that I am a follower of Nabi Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. I always think I have love for Him. But when I look at my actions I get ashamed of myself to consider me His follower. Only the thought of loving Him is in my heart but not Him. If only the Name Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam could struck my black heart making it ablaze then I will be delivered from the sin of causing pain to Him everyday by my bad deeds. A true lover does not hurt his beloved. Love and Lovers there can be more than the mind can conceive but without a beloved all is void. Without the Beloved of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala there is no beloved. Without the Beloved of the true Ummat e Nabi Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam there is no beloved. Without Nabi Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam there can be no love.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
If you are a lover
Behold you enter the valley of pain
Your beloved is a unique one
He has set his eyes on you heart
His jealous eyes scan your heart seeking for another beside him
The beloved is the best of creation
How shall he leave the love of any other linger in your heart?
He shall tear your heart to pieces until he finds you love none but him sincerely
If such art you ?
Then dare to enter the valley of Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam love otherwise take leave
In this valley reside the highest lover Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala Himself
So think twice before you enter the valley of Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
When you enter, care to enter with fear
For even a slightest disrespect is intolerable to the residents of this blessed valley

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuBrother You have no position and place on this forum. Your position is of a beggar roaming in the streets of Madina Shareef begging for Perfect Love from the King of Madina Shareef.

What is love? do we love our friends and family? yes? would they intercede for us on the day of judgement and love us so much more then they love themselves?
Our most beloved Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam would cry in their duas, My Ummah, My Ummah, some which came hundreds and hundreds of years after them, would any world leader do that for its people? and on the day of judgement, even though they will be the first to enter janat, they won't until they Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam intercede for their Ummah, this is love
Without Hazrat Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, there would be no earth, no sky, no oceans, no mountains, no people, not you, not me, so would there have been love? how could there be since this earth was created for the Love Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala had for his most beloved Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and that love came to his earth since the beginning, Hazrat Adam alayhis 'salam experienced it as did all the other Prophets, the sahaba Ikraam did and so do we and from this love, we are able to love, without it, love itself would not exist

Subhanallah, I had a message to answer this thread. I think it is my wish to answer it. I was reading all the hearty post then came across one with a link to a speech on youtube. This unfortunately diverted my attention with all the other tags and scrolling down I saw one video clip of a Molvi 'deobandi' challenging Allama Saeed Asad, infact he is no match for them, but I just wasted about 1 and half hours listening to his various clips of challenge when I should be answering this.....but I think it was the love for Nabi e Akhr zaman sallallahu alay hi wa sallam that I was getting incensed listening to his trash talk and wishing some Munazir would accept his challenge and shut him up, and Inshallah Sher e Ahl as Sunnah Allama Saeed Asad will soon. Reading all the post was great and only this one couplet comes to mind in answer to this thread by the great thinker of Allama Iqbal may Allah grant him peace...

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuSubhan-Allah. An excellent thread and brilliant replies by everyone. I'm glad this thread has been stuck up , I would have forgotton about it otherswise. I read this yesterday and had to share it with you as it describes my feeling and all lovers feelings for Ya Rasulullah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. Oh Lord Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, Make it such that on Judgement Day The cry on the lips of the lovers is this: " May Peace be Upon Our Prophet" Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam (Khawaja Habib Ali Shah, Diwan) Just calling out his name, Ya Rasullulah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam his titles, Ya Habibullah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam having his blessed name Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam in my name is an honour and my salvation, as I have nothing to take with me on the day of judgement except the beautiful name Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam as my name. This was taken from a speech by Sayad Shaykh yaqoobi, who said Maulana Rumi Rahmatullahi 'alayh also wrote this about the name Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam.
