ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam SubhanAllah! Jazak Allah Khair brother aaq, for sharing that excellent link, a must read for all those wanting to reach that essence of love. I have copied an extract, to post so our members get the jist of it. "And know that the loftiest of exemplars, the most noble and the greatest and the most binding to all Muslims is the Messenger of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, Almighty Allah bless him and grant him peace: verily he is by unanimous agreement the Greatest Exemplar. And the obligation due to him is the greatest after that of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala; and the adab with him the most emphasised of the adab and obediences. For whosoever loves him and immensely esteems him, he has indeed loved Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and whosoever obeys him has indeed obeyed Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala". Says Allah, the Exalted: "Say, if ye do love Allah, follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. For Allah is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful" (âl-'Imran: 31). And says the Exalted: "He who obeys the Apostle, obeys Allah " (an-Nisaa: 80). And says the Exalted: "So take what the Apostle assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in punishment" (al-Hashr: 7). And says the Exalted: "Then let those beware who withstand the Apostle's order, lest some trial befall them, or a grievous Penalty be inflicted on them" (an-Nur: 63). Sister, thank you for bringing such nice topic up. While reading this post,I just could not hold back my tears. As a new coverted Muslima, I am still on the learning stage.I've read a couple of books on our beloved prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and google some info on internet too.Sometimes,I am really amazed with our Prophet(peace be upon him)'s kindness and bravey...Honestly,I did doubt such great personality really did exist...as you now look at this world, full of darkness...how many people would fight for ones' belief n faith? Yet this world has gone so cruel that, people are killing their own people. But Prophet Muhammad (Yaa Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam) treated everyone equally, even enemies.....
To express love for our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Rasoolallah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam),would read as much as Darood Sharif as possible and be nice to everyone..And try to learn from Hadith and Sunnat.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Alhamdulillah. I had attempted to reply to this thread over the weekend - it took me a while just to read and be inspired by all the wonderful words and contributions expressing love for Allah's Beloved Habib Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. I then got disturbed had to do see to some errands and now Alhamdulillah there have been even more garlands of love made to this tread.
May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala make me worthy to understand and taste a tiny dose of this love, since it was the Blessed Companions who were the epitome of this love, their actions and sacrifices have illustrated and exemplified what this love is all about and how it should be adopted in ones life. We can merely imitate the way 'sunnah' of these 'stars' that were constantly dazzled by 'The Sun', and should just one spark from the 'Noor' blazing light reach and ignite some fortunate pious beings inner self it would be enough to revive and reinstate a whole community to live in accordance to the Shari'ah.
There can not be any love without the love for Hadrat Nabi Kareem alayhis salaam since they are the Beloved 'Mahboob' of our Creator. Those who profess to have love in their lives will realise that this love is only temporary and at times artificial, after its peak will descend and eventually diminish. True love is permanent and embedded. True love is divine and this love must be brought to our lives through those who are beloved of Allah's Beloved. The Awliya, the Mashaykh, The Sufiyah, The Buzurghaan e Deen The pious Men of Faith, we can find them during our life, search for them and sit in their company, the Good company 'sohbah' will slowly fill our hearts with love which will eventually yearn to reach the pinnacle of love ie longing desire to visit the Blessed Court of Allah's Beloved in Madinah Munawwarah.
Though the materialistic or artificial love may bring one temporal satisfaction in this world the divine love ascends and grows stronger and stronger through the 'faiz 'benevolence' and aid of the spiritual mentor. This love shows its true colours not only in this world but in the grave and will also ease the pain during the day of reckoning for the Beloved will not bear to want to see the loved one in pain and torment., yet many times we have seen how materialistic or artificial desires loose impetus and passion thus change to hate and annoyance.
dekhai tera jalwa to koyi tarup jaa ye nazar bhi roshan hai terai Noor se Suraj bhi kamar bhi
see your splendour whosoever blinded will become such vision enlightened with your Noor is the sun and the moon is
aiq me hi nahi sab hain terai chah ne walai Allah bhi, hurai bhi, pharishtai bhi, bashar bhi.
tis not I alone but all are desireth of you Allah is also, the Hur are also the angels are all so, man is also
This is this 'low lifes' understanding of how there should be love and a mere attempt to try to answer this thread. May Allah forgive my errors and bring true love of The Noble Messenger Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallamin my life and in those of my loved ones and the entire Ummah.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhuhmm.. a Q... which naat helped you to increase(or feel) ur love for Nabi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam.. to me it was madni madine walei by Owais Raza Qadri Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuExcellent innovation brought to the thread Sister Rafia. In fact there are several but I started to feel something special for my Master Sayyidinah Muhammad Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam when I used to hear the following couplets from Sab Say Awlaa Wa Aalaa Hamaara Nabi Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam written by Sayyidinah A'laa Hazrat Imaam Ahmad Razah Khan Faazil e Bareilvy Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu: Jiske Talwon Ka Dhuwan Hai Aabay Hayaat
Hai Wo Jaane Maseehaa Hamaara Nabi And the following couplets from: Chalo Dayaare Nabi Ki JaanibHein Unki Ummat Say Pyaar Kitna Karam Hein Rahmat Shi'aar Kitna
Hamaare Jurmon Ko Dho Rahe Hein Huzur Aansu Baha Baha KarRukh Pay Rahmat Ka Jhumar SajaaoWo Samaa Kaysa Zeeshaan Hoga Jab Khudah Mustapha Say Kaheinge
Ab To Sajde Say Sar Ko Uthaao Aap Ki Saari Ummat Bari Hai

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam Masha Allah a great incentive mentioned sister rafia. First of all the first recollections of praying with love was Salaato Salaam as a small kid in n mosque, that had always had a big affect on me as I always looked forward to that every Saturday and Thursday, standing up in line and praying Ya Nabi Sallam Alaika...... Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa SallamAnd praying Balagal ulabi Kama laihi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam at mosque also. I remember one of my earliest memories of ever listening to a naat shareef, was one of childhood, and I must have been about 7, 8 and we got our first cassette player and had a tape of beautiful naats shareef, given to us. And the naats on there, was like brother Saalik; Sab Say Awlaa Wa Aalaa Hamaara Nabi Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam Chamak tujh se paate hain sab paane waale, and another beautiful naat shareef, Nabiyun Nabiyun Nabiyun Nabi, Nabiyun Nabiyun Nabiyun Nabi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, It was in a beautiful voice and I love it. I always thought it was a man reciting that beautiful naat shareef. Many moons, later or should I say years, with the arrival of QTV, sat at my mums house, a sisters programme was on and a lady was praying this beautiful naat shareef and she had the same voice and my mum confirmed that it was the same lady and the same Naat that we used to listen to when we were small. I was shocked. She still prayed with the same beautiful, vice and she was quite an elderly lady by now but her voice was still beautiful. I think my auntie gave us that naat cassette, my marhoom Bibi Mami, May Almighty Allah bless her and grant her paradise. Later on over the years another that stuck to mind was Sayyed Fasihuddin Soharwardi , their naats are absolutely beautiful and two that stick and had an very big impact in my life were. Kush rawi achi lagi , na sarwari achi lagi ham faqeeron ko Madine ki gali achi loagi , and Ham Nai marnai ki Madina mai duwa mangi hai,
And my all time favorite is Huzoor Agayain Hai Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam , I just melt at that and was so proud when my son prayed it at mosque at 7 years of age on the Lay latul Qadar, (27 th night) In Ramadhan. And I can't end without mentioning the beautiful Qasida Burda, any version, is simply beautiful and hits a cord in my heart, I love all naats shareef, but these are just some that have had an impact in my life and helped in increasing my love for Our beloved Khatim Ul Anbiya , Rasul al Rahman, Our beloved Prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. It was good to re-live my past, and think of all the things that had contributed in introducing my feelings of love for Our Blessed Habib ul Allah, Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa SallamJazak Allah Khair for that sister Rafia, brother Saalik May Almighty Allah increase your love further and bless you. Come on brothers and sisters, what are your earliest memories of listening to naat shareef, and the introduction of love for Our beloved Prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam in your lives. ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam

ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam SubhanAllah, MashaAllah, well said dear brother and Jazak Allah Khair for taking time out and sharing your beautiful words with us. Just picking up on the excellent point you made which I have highlighted in bold and green, you brothers are lucky to sit and spend time with The Awliya, the Mashaykh, The Sufiyah, The Buzurghaan e Deen The pious Men of Faith,. We sisters don't get that much of an opportunity, although I did have and get some time to spend with our very blessed Piranai Amma sahibah Rahmatullahi 'alayhn and the very blessed Poophi Amma sahibah Rahmatullahi 'alayh who were very frail and old when they came to england but shared some amazing stories and knowledge. I agree its not the same as reading up in books and listening to lectures and speeches, as their is a different sense knowledge.as you get it first hand and secrets are revealed of the unknown when sat in these blessed gatherings. You brothers are lucky as you get so much opportunity but I suppose we sisters are lucky to have you as our brothers as that knowledge is then given to us by our very special brothers. I heard in an excellent speech by Sayyad Shaykh Yaqoobi something very similar along those lines, that to increase and understand the love and station of our beloved Prophet sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, we have to sit in the gatherings of the blessed and pious and learn from them, how they live their lives as they act out their lives emulating Our beloved Prophet Sayyedina Muhamma Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, that blessed Sahaba e kiram Radi Allahu anhum emulated our beloved prophet Sayyedina Muhammad Mustufa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and the Tabai -Tabiain copied the blessed Sahabah e kiram Radi Allahu anhum and the Awliyah e kiram emulated them and so on and son...., so we should sit in the company of the blessed and pious the Wali e Allah. Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu But , Sister it's my own words which means that after I got inspired by Imaam Malik Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu, when I recite Darood Shareef while comtemplating Madinah Shareef I visualize myself sitting afar (see picture below) with the hope that one day My Beloved Master Sayyidinah Rasoolullah Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Sallam will say: "Why are you so far from Me, come Closer to Me"In my Tasawwur e Madinah, I consider myself unworthy to go nearer but if I am blessed to go there in reality then though unworthy I'll break my own rules. It's obvious and legitimate after after all
