Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
As the month of Rabi ul Awwal and Eid Milad un Nabi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam are approaching us real fast and its a very important Event in the Islamic Calender for us Ashq e Rasool's Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. No doubt this event should be celebrated in the best possible manner according to Islamic Shariah.
What preparations/organising (such as booking time off from work, making or buying new outfits, decorating the home or arranging a date to hold Milad mehfil at home) will you be making in order to celebrate Milad shareef ?
As Owais Qadri would say Mein Jashn-e-Aamad-e-Sarkar
JazakAllah and do share your plans with us all.
Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

I will make some cards for my cousins if my paint program works Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu I hope it works, if not then you'll have to get another similar program which may be better with more tools to make more beautiful cards

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Mashallah some good entries which are quite inspiring.
i have new clothes and the boys have a pair of jubba's that they've only worn once so they'll be wearing those. hubby should be wearing a clean salwar kameez like he does every year.
my hubby has also booked the day off work so that should make life a little easier.
Inshallah will call the family over for fatiha (which means food!!! ;D )
will see if i can get the kiddies pressies as am not feeling great at the moment so who knows!

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhuhmm.. this would be my first time celebrating Milad un Nabi Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam.. I think we did celebrate it in pakistan.. but not here... last year all I did was listun to the naat and to the speech given by Ameer-e-Ahlesunnat... ..This year I think I would do all what you are suppose to do on eid.. new cloths.. mehndi etc... will try to follow all the sunnah's ..InshaAllah I'll (try to) cook the favorite food of Rasool Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam.. sareed.. for that I'll just make cholei.. and then turn it into sareed.. its also my favorite.. ;D ..will make kadoo ka halwa.. ( asuming that pumpkin is same as sweet-kado..?? ) have to look up the favorite food list.. dont remmber them all.. .. will listen to alot of naats/poems.. Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
