Holy Tabarrukaats. Holy tabarukaats or relics through the Prophets, objects and rituals. These relics are mentioned in the Holy Books, Ahadith and in the books of Scholars. Numerous actions of tabarrukaats were witnessed by the companions of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam who benifitted from them.. I thought it would be a good thread to start, as some people eye some of the riuals with suspicion…., You can all add on with a story behind a tabarrukaat would be nice. Ive started you off with:
Hadhrat Khwaja Moinuddin and the Blessed "Tabarrukkaat"
The famous incident of the meeting of Hadhrat Moinuddin Chisty and the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (sallallahu alaihi wassallam) , over 500 years after his death, is narratted in many books. Having completed Hajj rituals in 583 AH, Hadhrat Moinuddin went to Madinah Munawwarah where he performed salaat in Masjid-e-Nabwi and recited Durood and Salaam before the shrine regularly for a long time with utmost humility.
One day after fajr prayers, when people were comming out of the mosque, a voice was heard from the shrine, "Call Moinuddin." The Sheikh of the mosque, a announced, "Will Moinuddin come forward." There were many people in the mosque with the same name. The Sheikh was puzzled. Then after making inquiries, it was announced that the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) had called for Moinuddin Chisty. Hadhrat Moinuddin went to the sheikh who took him to the Holy Shrine and said " O Rasulullah! Moinuddin is present".
The door of the shrine opened by its own and the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was heard to say, “O Qutbul Mushaikh, come in. Hadhrat Moinuddin entered the shrine in a state of astonishment. He felt peaceful as he saw himself covered in Noor emanting from the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) who said “ O Moinuddin, I am granting you light of my religion. I am granting you Wilayat. You will go and settle in Ajmer and spread Islam from there. Allah (S.W.T.) will look after you.” Hadhrat Moinuddin did not know were Ajmer was.
That night in a dream he was shown Ajmer and its location. He then went to Baghdad where he met his Pir-O-Mursheed, Hadhrat Sheikh Khwaja Usman Harooni (rahmatullah alaihi) who gave him his Asa (a staff or Stick), Musallah (prayer mat), and his great Khirqa ( a Sufi gown) and those Holy Tabarrukaat which had been handed down in the Chistia Silsila (order) and told Hadhrat Moinuddin, “ Take these for my rememberance. Keep taking care of them them. Give it to those Whom you think appropriate. Only deserving are those who hear their Murshid, take heed of their advice and act upon them accordingly.”

Subhanalah! A beautiful story and a excellent thread.
I agree, that there are people who dont believe in the Holy Tabarukuts, Ie; Bal Mubarak etc. and stories like these will educate people and explain alot of suspicions.! Here is my contribution:
Tabarukaats- relics Mentioned in the Holy Quraan.
The Ark of the Covenant- the 'Tabut'.
In surah Baqarah the Almighty Says:
" And the prophet said to them: Surely the sign of his Kingdom is, that there shall come to you the chest in which there is peace of reassurance (sakina) from your lord and residue of the relics of what the chilren of Musa and the children of Haroon have left, the angels bearing it: most surely there is a sign in this for those who believe." (Surah Baqarah 2:248)
the relics in the Ark inclided the pictures of the Messengers of Allah ( not drawn by human hands, but Divine semblances togrther with drawings of their holy houses), the famous staff (Asaa), clothes, sandals (Nalain) of Musa (A.S.) and the staff and turban of haroon (A.S.).
'Tabut' the Ark of Covenant, an oblong chest of acacia wood covered and lined with puer gold, about 5 ft x 3ft., was the most ancient and the most sacred of the religious possessions of the Hebrew nation. It is said that whenever Bani Israel were engaged in battles against their enemies they used to carry the relics along with them up to the battlefield and keeping them in front of them they prayed for success and victory in the battle as a source of Sunnah of the Messengers of Allah. (khazin, Ruhul Bayan, Madarik, Jalaalain)

Excellent thread, and agree with sister safia, a must in this day and age, especially for our children of tommorrow!
The Auspicious Hair of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)
The Auspicious Hair more Valuable than anything in this World.
Whenever the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam used to have his hair cut, or the hair of the beard trimmed, the Sahaba did not let any of the Auspicious Hair fall on the ground. They presrved them as sacred relics. We note in what Grandeur did the noble companions of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam hold the auspicious hair that they did not let even one auspicious hair fall on thr ground.
It is stated in Muslim through Hazarat Anas (R.A.H.) that when the attendant was cutting the Auspicious hair of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)(S.A.W.), the companions moved around like moths, with the only intention that the auspicious hair may drop in their hands.
Muhammad bin Sereen (R.A.H.) said when I submitted humbly to Hazrat Sayeedna Ubeida Radi Allahu anhu that I have the Auspicious hair of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam which i had obtained from Hazarat Anas Radi Allahu anhu he said, " I hold having even one auspicious hair of the Lord of two worlds Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam more dear to me than the world and all its belongings."
The Auspicious Hair gave A fragrant Smell to the Streets of Madinah.
the streets of madina from where the Holy Prophrt Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam had passed through used to emit mildly sweet and pleasent smell of roses. A poet says the pleasent smell is not the smell of roses; rather it is the smell of the locks of sacred hair of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam infused in the buds of roses by Allah (S.W.T.) by his Own Sublime technique. Wherever the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam went, there used to be clouds of Divine Blessings over his head. The enviroment grew fragrant with this perfume. The streets of madina emitted the Sweet smell. Any one who saw the sacred tresses of the beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam became restless and fell in spiritual love with the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (A.A.W.). When his hair waved in the air, the enviroment got difused with the fragrence of musk and Divine Blessings decended in profuse form.

Alhamdulillah, fantastic thread. SOME GREAT CONTRIBUTIONS.
Can the munafiqeen now see the power and belief blessed upon Sayyeduna Rasullalah (saw) with these Holy Tabarraks, passed down great generations from the faithful Sahaba alayhis 'salam to the purest of Saints and then to the momineen.
Tilka ayatu Allahi natlooha AAalayka bialhaqqi fabiayyi hadeethin baAAda Allahi waayatihi yuminoona
These are the Signs (Ayât) of Allâh which WE are describing to you with Truth. Now after Allâh and HIS Signs what is that on which these people will bring Faith? [/color]

The Authenticity, Longevity and Existence of the Auspicious Hair throughout the World.
It is quite possible that people, would wonder that for 1400 years, the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam Hair has been treasured and , how people came to be in possesion of and what proof do they have of its authenticity?
Authenticated Ahadith have proved that the Sahaba, used to surround the Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam like moths to obtain one of his auspicious hairs. They considered it as the most dear to them in the world and presrved it with upmost care. in due course the noble companions spread throughout the world promoting deen, In this way along with other relics, the auspicious hair, too, reached every corner of the world.
" Doubtlessly, Allah (S.W.T.) has made eating of the auspicious bodies of the Prophets Unlawful (forbidden to the earth." (Ibn-e-Majah) Obviously, when the Sacred body stays intact, how could the auspicious Hair being part of the chaste body decay?. On the contrary, it has been observed in foregoing pages that from one auspicious hair, Several branches sprout and becomes a cluster of luminous hair. The growth and development of the hair , from the chaste body of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam continued. The auspicious hair passed on from the Sahaba to their children and onto countless lovers of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam throughout the world.
Veneration, Respect, and Honour and reverence of the auspicious hair of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam is positive faith. Even the last disrespeect or insolence is infidelity. Hazarat Ali (karam-Allahu wajhu) has said:
" I saw the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam saying with his auspicious hair in his hand: " Anyone who causes harm, even to the auspicious hair of mine, the Paradise becomes unlawful for him." (Kanzul-Ummal)
The savant, Hazarat Yousaf, son of Ismail Nabhani Radi Allahu anhu relates the words of Hazarat Fakhaarud-din Radhi Radi Allahu anhu " Anyone who causes disgrace even to the auspicious hair of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, I would call him an Infidel." (Jawahr-ul-Bihar)

Subhanallah! thankyou brother furqaan for this excellent thread,: here is my contibution:
The Shirt of Hadhrat Ibrahim ( Alaihis- salaam)
In Surah Yusuf we learn that when Hadhrat Ya'qub (A.S.) sent Hadhrat yusuf (A.S.) along with his brothers, he rolled the shirt of Hadhrat Ibrahim (A.S.) as an amulet and kept it under the clothes of Hadhrat Yusuf (A.S.) as a token of blessing and safety from any danger. (Tafsir-eKhazin, Madarik, Ruhul Bayan, Tafsir-eKhabeer).
Also in the Quraan, there are ayats relating to the shirt of Hazarat yusuf (A.S.)
Yusuf (A.S.) says : 'Take my shirt and cast it over my father's face so that he regains his eye-sight." (Yusuf: 930) "So when the bearer of good news came he cast it on his face, so forthwith he regained his sight," (Yusuf: 96)
Similary Hadhrat Amir Mu'awiyyah Radi Allahu anhu had with him the auspicious shirt, some auspicious hair and Nails of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. He left Instructions that at the time of his death: " Place the shirt of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam inside my coffin, and the Sacred Nails and Auspicious hair in my mouth and eyes and then leave me to the compassion of the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.( MIRQAAT)

Is'nt it a miracle that in todays mad and uncivilised world where religion is mocked and Muslims are persecuted for their beliefs we have solace and peace with the auspicious 'Muhe Mubarak' of Rasullalah (Saaws).
The miracle itself of the hairs sprouting and multiplying is a testament of the Final Prophet (saaws) through our Lord and Master of the heavens. This is our salvation and future legacy for our grandchildren as it has been for our grandfathers..

A beautiful thread, Mashallah!
The Veneration of Maqam-e-Ibrahim.
The veneration of the Maqaam-e-ibrahim within the four walls of the Kaa'ba is because of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) The Holy Qur'an commands us to make our place of worship where Hazarat Ibrahim (A.S.) stood for prayers.
" And when we made the house (at Mecca) a resort for mankind and a Sanctuary, Take as your place of worship the place where Ibrahim stood (to Pray).... (surah Baqarah, 1:125)
Hazarat Ibne Abbas Radi Allahu anhu has said that Allah Ta'ala will bring Hajar-ul-Aswad, the black stone which Hazarat Ibrahim (A.S.) built into the southeast corner of the Ka'baa, to life on the day of Judgement and grant it eyes and toungue to see and speak. It will stand witness to the Person who kissed it an reveal real reverence.
Tibrani in his narration mentions that on the day of Judgement Allahu ta'ala will resusicate both, Hajar-ul-aswad and rukn-e-yamani. They will be granted tongues and lips and will stand witness to the belief that the person touched them in revernce.

Iv got one to add:
THE BLESSINGS OF ZAM ZAM
The blessings of the Zam-Zam water is so due to the fact that it had sprung up by the trampling of the Holy Feet of the Infant Hazarat Ismail (Alahis-salaam) who was then feeling thirsty.
One wonders why the deviant sects readily accept the blessings originating from Hazarat Ibrahim (Alaihis-salaam) but stubbornly reject the blessings from the relics of the most beloved of Allah (S.W.T.) the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam)
Keep them coming folks Im really enjoying them!

And now all of their descendents preach bidat, shirk etc and try to re-invent our beautiful Deen for themselves which is the biggest bidat of them of, if not kuffar. I feel sorry for some of them, for they know not different. If you want to learn more about the deviants go to the excellent Heretical Sects page, i do every now and again to cheer myself up.

excellent thread brother! Subhanallah! heres my contribution to this great thread THE HOLLY PROPHET Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam BEQEATHS HIS KHIRQA (ROBE) TO HADHRAT UWAIS It has been narrated that our beloved Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam willed before he passed away from this worldly life that Hadhrat Umar and Hadhrat Ali (R.A.A) should preserve his cloak and pass it onto Hadhrat Uwais. In accordance with the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam Hadhrat Umar and Hadhrat Ali (R.A.A) took the cloak to the oasis where Hadhrat Khwaja Uwais used to graze his camels and spend his time in a state of prostation to Allahu Ta’ala. When he heard the footsteps of the two sahabi, he completed his prayer as quickly as apossible and finished his formal prayer of Salam. Hadhrat Uwais greeted them. Hadhrat Ali (R.A.A) asked him his name and he replied, “Abdullah” (Devotee of Allah). To this Hadhrat Ali said, “Every Muslim is Abdullah. But please tell us what your mother has given to you.” He replied, “My name is Uwais.” Both Hadhrat Umar and Hadhrat Ali (R.A.A) conveyed the greetings of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. They requested him to pray for the salvation of the Muslim community and presented to him the cloak of the Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. HADHRAT UWAIS QARNI’S PRAYER OF SALVATION AND THE BLESSINGS OF THE HOLY CLOAK Hadhrat Uwais prayed for the salvation of Muslims whereby 10,000 Muslims were saved from the reckoning on the Day of Judgment. This was granted. Hadhrat Uwais Qarni then asked for salvation of another 10,000 Muslims which was also granted. Hadhrat Uwais continued asking for salvation when Hadhrat Umar and Hadhrat Ali asked to pray for them as well. Hadhrat Uwais said he would have continued praying for salvation of all Muslims to come up to the Day of Judgment if they had not made their request then. Muslims believe the prayers for the salvation of Muslims were granted by Allahu Ta’ala because of the piety of Hadhrat Uwais, his extreme love for the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam and the blessings of the Hol;y Tabarrukaat – the beloved Prophet’s blessed cloak. An important lesson for us to learn from the Hadith in MISKKAAT SHAREEF mentiond on page is that the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam expressly asked the Sahaba to request Hadhrat Uwais to pray for them when they meet him, although there was nobody else beside him whose prayers are more readilt accepted by Allahu Ta’ala. This Hadith is proof of the belief of the Ahl us-Sunnah in TAWASSUL i.e “supplicating Allah by means of intermediary, weather it be a living person, dead person, a good deed, or a name of attribute of Allah Most High,” asa defined by Nuh Keller, an orthodox Sunni Scholar. HADHRAT UWIAS QARNI IN THE HADITH Hadhrat Uwais had many praise-worthy qualities. Hdhrat Umar (R.A.A) has reported in the Mishkkaat Shareef that he had heard the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam to have stated : “ A man will come to you from the direction of Yemen, whose mane will be Uwias. He will have no relatives in Yemen except his mother. He will be devoted to his mother that he will not leave Yemen on her account. He has a big white mark on his body. He prays to Allah and as a result of this prayer his mark disappeared but a small circular mark remained. Whosoever amongst you meets him, he should ask him to for his forgiveness.” In another Hadith it is stated : “ In the generation of Muslims which follows the Companions there will be a man called Uwais, who is the bet amongst them. He will have no one except his mother. He will have a white mark on his right hand. Whoever finds him should request him to pray for his forgiveness.” It is reported that the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam used to turn his face towards Yemen and say, “I get the fragrance of the love from this direction.” Sometimes he used to say, “I am eager to meet my brother.” Khwaja Uwais also desired to meet the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam but the Prophet forbade him, saying that he should first serve his old mother with dedication and affection and not leave her alone.

Subhanallah!
Im amazed at how well this thread has done, and the post are amazing, Jazakallah Khair!
Hasina your beauiful post about the Holy Prophets Cloak was Exceptional, but id like to add this on:
THE EXISTENCE OF THE Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)'S CLOAK TODAY.
The Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)'s Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam cloak was passed down from Hadhrat Uwais Qarni to pious savants in the varrious Silsilas (Spiritual orders).
Over time many people laid claim to the cloak. At one time it was in the possession of Hadhrat Yahya Sarifuddin Maneri. On his deathbed he requested that the cloak that was passed by, The Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam through Hadhrat Umer and Hadhrat Ali Radi Allahu anhu to Hadhrat Uwais Qarni should be retained by a person who had certain attributes, he would lead funeral prayers and have all the tabarukaats which included the cloak as well. He said whoever lifted the cloak could take it away. Many people came foreward but nobody could lift it . In the end HADHRAT MAKHDOOM ASHRAF SIMNANI KICHOCCVI (RAHMATULLAH ALAIHI) came forward and picked it with out effort.
The Cloak is now under the custody of SILSILA-e-ASHRAFIA. It is taken out with great respect and is worn during the Urs of MUHARRAM each year by the SAJADA-NASHEEN of the ASTANA ALIA. During this period thousands of people come for ZIyarat of the cloak and attain blessings of this most HOLY relic of the Beloved Prophet of Allah, Hadhrat MUHAMMED (SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASSALAM).
