The wealth of the world,howsoever much it may be,is but little.The company of the snake is dangerous for and detrimental to the man who does not know of an antidote.
The loss and gain of the wealth of the world make no difference to dervishes.They do not feel sorry at its going and they do not feel happy at its coming.
Love means that one does not see anyone else but God.One so consumed should turn his face away from heaven,hell,relations,and dependants.
Sayings
One should not be attached to every door and person but hold fast to one door and one alone.
Real love implies that when one rises in the morning,one does not remember what transpired during the night,and at the approach of night,one does not remember anything of the day.
If the repetition of the remembrance of God is lacking,then an individual can not even smell the love of God.
The safety of the body lies in eating less;the safety of the soul lies in sleeping less;and the safety of religion lies in prayer.
