Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Many people have practice of drinking coffee / tea immediately after completion of breakfast / lunch. Most of the people end up their lunch with coffee only. This practice makes adverse effect on our health.
Anemic is a effect of shortage of iron in our body. It’s now common in 50% f the people. High percentage of iron helps our body to overcome such Anemic.
Intestine has quality of absorbing iron from our regular food during digestion process. South Indian food has 0.4 ml iron and its enough to our health. Tannin content in Tea / coffee reduces the quality of absorbing iron and due to this our Intestine can absorb only 0.2ml of iron. Tea further 50% dangerous than coffee i.e. it reduces to 0.1 ml since it has more percentage of tannin in it.
Hence having tea / coffee immediately after lunch / breakfast will effect severely. It’s better to have those after 1 hour from the lunch, which will not effect on iron absorption process. Additionally it’s healthy to have fruits juice especially orange juice after lunch.

Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
I have googled this, and it appears that several studies have resulted in different findings: good and negative effect. The sort of tea (black/green tea, etc) is also a factor apart from other factors like the amount of iron you get in and the state of your body.
Wassalamu 'alaykum
