Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuhu
Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem
Yahya (Radi Allahu ta'ala anhu) related to me from Malik (Radi Allahu ta'ala anhu) from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih (Radi Allahu ta'ala anhu)from his father from Abu Hurayra (Radi Allahu ta'ala anhu) that a man of the Aslam tribe said, "I did not sleep last night." The Messenger of Allah(Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) said to him, "For what reason?" He said, "A scorpion bit me." The Messenger of Allah (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) said, "Had you said in the evening, 'I seek refuge with the complete words of Allah from the evil of what He has created, 'it would not have happened. Audhu bi kalimati'llahi't-tammati min sharri ma khalaq {Muwatta Malik, Book 51, Hadith 11}
Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu ta'ala anhu) narrated that the Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) said, “Whoever says three times, when he reaches the evening: Audhu bi-kalimatillahi-tam’mati min sharri ma khalaq (I seek refuge in Allah’s Perfect Words from the evil of what He created), no poisonous sting shall harm him that night.” (Hadith No. 3604, Narrations on Supplications, Jami’ At-Tirmidhi, Vol. 6)
