The patience exhibited by the Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam) in the face of difficulty
Throughout the period of his mission, the Most Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam) experienced all manner of difficulty. Deniers and polytheists, from among his own people, insulted him most terribly, even calling him a magician or a madman. Others wanted to kill him and even schemed to do so. Despite all that, the Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam) tried to teach people of all backgrounds and cultures about the Qur'an, and therefore about proper morality and good behavior.
As is revealed in the verses of the Qur'an, some people had not the slightest idea of the basics of good manners, for which reason it never entered their minds that they might appall someone who possessed superior morality. The Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam) displayed the greatest patience in this circumstances, turning to Allah and asking for His help in all situations and encouraging believers to patience and submission.
In many verses in the Qur'an, Allah advises the Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam) to be patient despite the words of unbelievers:
So be patient in the face of what they say and glorify your Lord with praise before the rising of the sun and before it sets. (Surah Qaf: 39)
Do not be grieved by what they say. All might belongs to Allah. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. (Surah Yunus: 65)
We know that your breast is constricted by what they say. (Surat al-Hijr: 97)
Perhaps you are leaving aside part of what has been revealed to you and your breast is constricted by this because they say, "Why has treasure not been sent down to him or an angel not accompanied him?" You are only a warner and Allah is Guardian over all things. (Surah Hud: 12)

The Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam) is introduced in the Qur’an-e-Paak in these words: [And We have not sent you forth but as a mercy to mankind.] (Al-Anbiyaa’: 107)
This shows that his distinctive quality was that he was a blessing incarnate in word and deed. Allaho Akbar.

According to a hadith, the Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam) once said, “A true believer is one with whom others feel secure. One who returns love for hatred.” The Prophet (Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam) made it clear that one who would only return love for love was on a lower ethical plane. We should never think that we should treat people well only if they treat us well. We should, rather, be accustomed to being good to those who are not good to us and to not wronging those who harm us.

A beautifull thread, Any thread showing the beautifull character of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (saw) is in my eyes a winner.
The Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (saw) blessed existence was not dependant or taken from the existence of any other, he was made from the light of Haq Jalla when he did not have a body.

Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) says: Realise that My Prophetic Messenger himself is with you
And know that among you is Allah's (Prophetic) Messenger; were he to follow your wishes in many a matter, you would surely fall into trouble, but Allah has endeared the faith to you and has adorned it in your hearts, and he has made hateful to you unbelief and transgression and disobedience; such are those who are rightly guided. (al-Qur'an 49:7)

Rasoolalah Salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam has told us in the hadith: “Whoever tries to be patient, then Allah will help him to be patient.”
Sabar is a great gift that Allah tala gave his beloved Messenger Salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and how lucky we are to have received it.

Here's a great story on the Most Beloved Prophet's (Salla Allahu alaihi wa Sallam) tolerance and humility.
The beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu alaihi wa Sallam) once borrowed some money from a Jew. After a few days the Jew came to demand payment of his debt. The Prophet (Salla Allahu alaihi wa Sallam) told him that at that moment he had nothing to pay him with. The Jew said that he wouldn’t let him go until he had paid him back. And so the Jew stayed there, from morning till night, holding the Prophet (Salla Allahu alaihi wa Sallam) captive. At that time the Prophet (Salla Allahu alaihi wa Sallam) was the established ruler of Madinah and could have easily taken action against him.
His Companions naturally wanted to rebuke the man and chase him away. But the Prophet (Salla Allahu alaihi wa Sallam) forbade this, saying, “The Lord has forbidden us to wrong anyone.” The Jew continued to hold the Prophet (Salla Allahu alaihi wa Sallam)captive until the following morning. But with the first light of dawn, the Jew was moved by the Prophet’s (Salla Allahu alaihi wa Sallam) tolerance, and he thereupon embraced Islam.
In spite of being a rich man, he had detained the Prophet (Salla Allahu alaihi wa Sallam) the day before on account of a few pence. But now the Prophet’s (Salla Allahu alaihi wa Sallam) noble conduct had had such an impact on him that he was willing to give all his wealth to the Prophet (Salla Allahu alaihi wa Sallam), saying, - Spend it as you please.

Mashaallah! A magnificent thread and some excellent post, The Crown of Creation was our Beloved Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam). Thats why I really find it difficult to understand why , being a Muslim, the wahabbi frown up when you speak of the GRANDEUR of NABI MUHAMMAD (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). I just ca'nt understand why they are so harsh towards listning to the Power Allah Subhanah Wa ta'ala has granted to His Beloved Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam). What kind of ASHIQ are you? Ask yourself and you will get the answer.

The Paitence of the Prophet was Just one of the Outstanding Charastistic and attributes of the Beloved prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was and is free from all imperfections, blemish and weakness, and he is a personification of excellence and virtues of all types. In the holy Qur'an, Allahu Ta'ala has stated: "May His Blessings, bounties and favours be in abundance, and may he be glorified and exalted who sent down to his servant (the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu laihi wasallam) the final criterion ( the holy Qura'an) to distinguish right from wrong so that he may Be a perfect model and authority for all." In another hadith the Noble Prophet Salla Allahu tala alaihi wa sallam said, “If a believer is not able to benefit others, he must at least do them no harm.” This shows that to the beloved Prophet the man who becomes useful to others leads his life on a higher plane. But if he fails to do so, he should at least create no trouble for his fellow men. For a man to be a really good servant of God, he must live in this world as a no-problem person. There is no third option.

No sincere believer tries to gain the love, good will, praise of anyone other than Allah in his actions and religious duties. The finest example of such sincere believers is the Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam).
The Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu Ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam) sought only to win Allah's good pleasure, and spent his life striving to win His mercy, compassion and Paradise, with never a thought for personal interests or worldly gain.
Say: "I have not asked you for any wage - it is all for you. My wage is the responsibility of Allah alone. He is witness of everything." (Surah Saba': 47)
