Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa SallamKhayr Mubarak, and apologies for the delay in answering your question. The sunnah way of breaking a 'fast', is not to break it too late, and not too early either. To break it when the sun sets, by using a date, and by reciting the du'a: 'Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika amantu wa alayka tawakkaltu wa 'ala rizqi ka aftartu'
'Oh Allah, I fasted for you, and I have faith in you, and I am trustworthy to you, and it is with your sustenance that I break my fast' Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi Further Reading : www.islam786.org/ramadan.htmAnd Iftaar - Power of Du'a
