Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam It is true that the beloved Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam did not have a ta'wiz, because He Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam was a mercy for mankind, in Himself, how could He require a ta'wiz from someone else, when He Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam had no defects in Him Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. What people do not realise, is that we are not the same as the Beloved Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, as we have many defects within us. That is why we have to go to someone who is close to Allah the Almighty and ask them for waza'if, hila, or ta'wiz. He Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam had no defects in Him, as He Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam had direct contact with Allah the Almighty. We can only have this contact through Him, and only Him, and if anyone claims that they have contact with Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala by themselves is a fool, as we became Muslim through Him, and not through our own accord. As far as the ta'wiz are concerned in relation to wearing them, then they can be worn around the neck as long as they have a leather cover, or plastic cover around them. The words of the ta'wiz should not be revealed in places like toilets, or other dirty places. This is the reason why they have a cover on them. People who say that they are not allowed to wear it because 'be adbi hoti hai' are wrong, because they want to prevent people from using names of Allah the Almighty for a good cause. They may have their reasons, but the baraka and blessing people gain from ta'wiz are so admitted by the mass of Muslims, that they cannot prevent their use. May Allah the Almighty help us all to use His names, and words, in the correct way, and prevent people from making excuses, which they make for their own sake. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
