By movies I meant the general stuff like watching videos etc on your device. Well I guess if you really want to then go for laptops, a few words of advice, if you want high quality when watching videos or playing games then laptops arent what you want. For the price of an average laptop £500-£700, you could get yourself a top spec PC (by top spec I mean the latest dual core processors, 1GB of Ram and more than 250GB of hardrive, the latest 7800GT version graphics card and the new SLI express motherboards). If you really want a laptop then acer's are very good and heres a few sites that have them cheap: www.komplett.co.ukwww.savastore.co.ukP.S. avoid the intel celeron processors, go for the AMD's.

As i said ACers are good and the only good deals you'll find are on the net, even Dell's on the net. Best bet is to go to small computer retailers in your local high street, dont go to people like dixons/PC world, you'll just get riped off unless the deal is too good to be true!
Just follow the adivce i gave you
avoid celeron processors at all costs and shop around and feel the laptops, dont get one that might be too heavy.
Also look out for the battery life depending on how you want to use it and be sure it doesnt emit too much heat as it can cause infertility if kept on laps for toooooooooo long!

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuI think dell are good because they allow you to 'build your own' computer but to be honest, that is that much variety today its hard to choose, i think it depends on what you are looking for aswell, hard drive, cd/dvd writer etc
