Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuI was advised to delete cookies as I am not computer literate/expert I did not understand what this means. I know in the tools option it states delete cookies but I was nervous in selecting this ;D If I select this what are outcomes etc etc Can you advise further as I am sure there are alot of sisters (especially) who are not aware of these cookies (except chocolate cookies ;D) Jazakallah khair Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhui'm not an expert either but i'll try to explain it. a cookies it a small text document. every time you visit a website, a cookie is placed on your harddrive, detailing the date and time of visit. a lot of websites use it to remember your user logon details so that you dont have log in. these cookies are harmless and you can delete them. there are also tracking cookies, which are used by advertising companies as a marketing tool to track your surfing habits. it enables them to see if you visit their competitors or if there are any competitors they dont know about. personally, i block all cookies. it doesnt affect my surfing in way, i enable them when i need to log on to a particular website. from a security point of view try this free download (ad-aware se personal) to get rid of any tracking cookies and any other unwanted devices. www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
