free calls through your internet ?

Does anyone know that you can make free calls somehow through your internet connection ?

I know you will need to get a phone but how exactly is it done ?

its called VoIP - Voice over Internet Protocol.

there is a software called Skype (free to download).

and you can make free calls via your pc as long as the person your calling also has Skype software installed on their pc.

the only hardware you'd need is a headset/speakers or a usb phone.

Thats not a bad thing, esp for long distance calls, so much easier as well as better than emails.
