My freind loves his cordless digital keyboard and mouse but he needs new batteries every three weeks, which are not cheap.
Wired mouse is okay, performance poor but a lot cheaper, so whats the compromise ?

Wired mouse is okay, performance poor but a lot cheaper, so whats the compromise ? i had the same problem with batteries, so i got rid of it! what about using rechargeable batteries? the only benefit of i saw from the limited time i had it, was that i didn't have the keyboard and mouse wires tangling

wireless is better with recharchable batteries. Wireless internet is great too!
