Remember not to save as BMP but JPEG or PNG. BMP format is heavy and may take time to upload.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuYou can use something called Irfanview to paste the image in. It's a great small, free program that lets you view images and has loads of features. www.irfanview.com/You can also resize images quite easily using this program and save in lots of different formats.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Create a new folder anywhere you want on your pc and name it VLC Snapshots. Open VLC Media Player - click on Settings - Preferences. In the Preferences window click on Video and you will see the options as shown in the picture, just follow the little instruction and save. Play the speech you want to. While the speech is going on click on Video in the menu bar and click on Snapshot. The picture will be saved in the VLC Snapshots folder you created, go there and check . Hope you won't come back again with black pictures .

Assalamu-Aleikum.
Jazakallah for this useful information.
Since some members might be Apple Mac users, here's how to take screenshots on a Mac: * Command-Shift-3: Take a screenshot of the screen, and save it as a file on the desktop * Command-Shift-4, then select an area: Take a screenshot of an area and save it as a file on the desktop
