Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Right sisters we all make chips (or fries if your posh ) once in a while, to feed our hungry small and greedy big mouths ;D, but how do you make or like them ? 1] from the Chippy 2] oven ready 2] cut the potato and fry them or are you like me do all three depending on time ..and finally which taste the best ?

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu. The best chip has got to be home made cut and fried, with salt vinigar and red chilli powder on top, while very hot. Next has got to be the chip shop chip with loads of salt and vinigar and chili sauce. And if I am very busy or lazy then the ready cut frozen chip or oven ready. I love chips so I will eat it any way.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Never had home made chips It's always nice having chip shop chips with salt and vinager, delicious but very fattening! We tend to make oven chips/fries because its cheap and quick and we don't have a chip shop near our new house

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu, Hmmmm, I love my spuds! And chips are my fav. I'd have any: home made, from the Chippy or oven ready. But for the best taste, I must go for the ones from the Chippy. Agree with sr. Surriya - Nothing can beat that taste! With plenty of salt and vinegar......and garlic and chilly sauce if I'm in the mood. Just talking about it is making my mouth water!
