Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAlhamdolila i was there too and it was a mehfil. The masjid was bursting at the seems mashallah. This is what it should be like for all mehfils. I thought Ghazi-e-Millets speech was rousing, to the point and full of the usual passion and energy. Shame Shaykh-ul-Islam never spoke because of their illness.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
I thought Hazrat Ghazi-e-Millat under the present circumstances gave a rousing speech on the Qur'an and Ahle Bait. It was as usual cleverly combined on the touching subject of those who have fallen away from the path of Islam.
I liked the way he left the end part open, words to the effect of ...
atcha mil ghiya aap ko sukoon, phir aana chaar June, bata yenge kis ka khune
