Khawaja-e- khawajgan, mirror of truth and wisdom, the founder of Shadpur Sharif Naqshbandia Aslamiyya Spiritual Institutions in Jhelum, Pakistan and Blackburn, U.K. the Grand Master Hazrat Sufi Sheikh Mohammad Aslam Sahib, The leader of Naqshbandi Order.
His spiritual eminence came to the UK in 1963 following the advice from their Sheikh Khwaja-e-Khwajgan Hazrat Sufi Nawab-ud-Din of Mohri Sharif. 9 years prior to the departure his holiness the Sheikh made an historical transition into spiritual training and development.
Upon arrival in UK, discovered that people were deeply materialistic and that the Muslim community was in its early developmental stages, number of mosques at the time were few and far between, worked in industries until 1969, during this period the Sheikh successfully helped fellow workers to adopt Islamic practice at work place and negotiated time - off for Juma Prayers, Eid and daily prayers, After works hours his holiness would organise Zikr meetings to help people regain Islamic identity and spiritual awareness. As a result many people reverted to practical Islamic way of life, but as yet the tariqa door had to open.
In 1969, the Sheikh was invited by Teesside Young Muslim Association to help them guide local Muslim community. It was here in Middlesborough the young people found the dawa approach very appealing and asked the Sheikh to join them into the Naqshbandi Order. At last the moment had come for which his eminence had been sent to UK - tariqa door was opened, it marked a turning point for spiritual propagation, hence a chain reaction had started. The sound of "Allah Hoo" became a constant reminder for people to discover their inner-self. Many young people changed their lives for good. About year later the Sheikh moved to Bradford, here too the Triqa gained momentum and rapidly spread to other parts of UK, Europe, and Asia. By late 80's his holiness moved to Blackburn, the work continued to flourish and impact on people from all walks of life including hard criminals and social outcasts - about 30 prisoners reformed inside the prison, some of them reverts from Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism and Sikhism.
During Hajj in 1997, an Indian Qadri/Chishti Sheikh with thousands of followers in Maharashtra humbly requested the Sheikh to join him in the Naqshbandi Order; his eminence rewarded him with the blessing after which he wept in tears full of joy and ecstasy.
The spectacular combined event of Milad and Urs is held in Blackburn every year and is repeated in Shadpur Sharif as well to allow students in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir to benefit from the remarkable occasion, the event in either case is presided by the Sheikh and both gatherings are attended by Khalifas, Scholars, Sheikhs and students as well as people from all backgrounds and communities. The focus is on the life and the work of the Noble Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) (pbuh) , and how the blessings continue to impact on humanity. The Blackburn conference is represented by Sheikh's Khalifas murids and Ulmas from all over UK with some special guests from Pakistan and Azad Kashmir
The love and affection of Sheikh has changed the most hardest of hearts, which now flow with the remembrance of the Zikre of the almighty, "Allah Hoo". If you are looking for love and peace then come and join with the Sheikh and find the truth and wisdom for yourself.
