salaam, im new to this site, was just browsing, reading about sheikh nazim and i ended up on this site. glad i did. iv been reading about the naqshaband tariqa for a long tym now, n ive got this urge in me to becum a mureed. i have a few questions dat i wana ask im sure most of u wud hav the answers. frst ? is how would i take bayyath? who woudl prescribe to me the practices that i wud have to perform? after taking bayyath, is that it? u dont stay in contact with the sheikh or anything? i also read that sheikh nazim sees all his mureeds is that rright? i got alot of questions i dont kno wer to start 4real. if any1 knows and is willin to tell me more than what ive asked please do, wud gr8ly appreciate it. thanks salaam

salaam, thanks. 1 more ?, does it matter which chain u belong 2, there all the same right? which one does ur pir follow?. i wana folow the 1 that adheres most to the sunah n everythin if u no wat i mean. pir means sheikh right? sorry 4 the dum ?'s

which silsila to follow depends on you.
there are 4 main silsilas, qadira, ashrafiya, naqshabandiya, and Chishtiya yes all started from Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam

Mashallah, yes ashrafi is not the 4th silsila it is a branch of the chishti and qadri silsila, the 4th one is soharwardi silsila. Any silsila can get u what u want to achieve, they are all branches leading to Huzoor Paak Salla Allahu Ta'ala Alayhi wasalam. It is entirely up to you. There are many kamil shaykhs. All from different different silsilas. Feel free to enquire about any.
