Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
.... LOVE RASOOLALLAH (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) more than your parents.
I have decided to post this new thread after the recent publication of despicable and inflammatory cartoons of our Most Beloved Rasool (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam). We have to continue to show the rest of the world why we hold Gods Final Messenger (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) so dear to our hearts and in our lives.
Please reply (just a few words will do) briefly but only once to this topic and lets see if we can get all of the members of this website to reply.
If you are reading this but have not yet registered please do so now and Vote to show your true Love for the Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam).
Jazakallah kahiran.
Having the proper love for Allah's Beloved Messenger (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) is a must for any Muslim who is striving to please his/her Lord and who seeks his/her Lord's Forgiveness. Learning how to properly apply this love for the last Nabi (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) is to properly implement the testimony:
wa ash hadu ana Muhammadan Rusulu Allah
Indeed, one cannot just say he/she loves the Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) while his/her actions and 'Aqeedah are fundamentaly against what the beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) brought (i.e. the Qur'an and the authentic Sunnah). Hence, the first step in the process of developing this love is to acknowledge that the Prophet (SAAW) has a claim over the believers.
Allah Almighty has said in the Qur'an (what means): "The Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) is closer to the believers than their ownselves..." [Al-Ahzab]
Reason for edit : To rectify a slight error but quite important in the context.

A most commendable idea brother Jamil.
Hadrat Anas (Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu) reported that the Most Beloved Messenger of Allah (Salla Allahu ta'ala alayhi wa aalihi wa Sallam) said, "None of you will believe until I am more beloved to him than his children, his father and all people." (al-Bukhari, Muslim & an-Nasa'i)

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,
In trying to explain our hurt to non muslims I have found it hard. It is hard for people to understand the concept of loving somebody so much that we've never met. How can we love the Beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) more than our parents. It's simple when you understand how much the Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) has done and will do (Insha Allah) for us. Only He (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) will intercede for us on the day of judgement when everyone else we know and love will be worried only about themselves. We love our parents and family so much for the love and protection they have given us in this world and of course we love the Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) more than this because He (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) is a Mercy for all Mankind.
Fi Amanillah

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu. A great idea, praising and exalting the status of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) is commendable. To Praise Almighty Allah's Most Beloved (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) I am not able, With His Name Muhammad Mustufa (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) I only make my Lines valuable. the love embedded in my heart is imaginable the whisper of His Beautiful Name Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) makes me uncontrollable.

Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) is the one who provided creation with meaning and gave man the answers to such questions. If he had been fully recognised, he would have been truly loved. Although we only know him a little, we still love him.
