Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
The proper methodology and the route to success in this life and the Hereafter is to follow the methodology and Sunnah of the Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam), and we can only do that by respect and true love.

i got this from the mawlid page of www.islam786.comAnd when the Book from Allah came to them, which confirms the Book in their possession - and before that they used to seek victory through the medium of this very Prophet (Muhammad ) over the disbelievers; so when the one whom they fully recognised came to them, they turned disbelievers - therefore Allah's curse is upon the disbelievers. [Surah Baqarah 2:89]

What would I do....
If you asked me to give up all my material possessions, If you asked me to give up my shelter, If you asked me to stop eating, If you asked me to stop drinking, If you asked me to stop breathing,
Would I?
If you asked me to stop loving my most beloved (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) in this whole universe for a single milisecond, I'd rather do everything listed above then do this, I wished that evertime my heart beated, it would say Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,
Subhanallah, an excellent idea.
A couple of verses of a nasheed came to mind whilst reading this thread:
"He's the beloved of the worshipped one, that's why we love him Rasool'Allah, More than kin and kith do we love him, Habib'Allah.
Not just me but the whole universe adores him Nabi'Allah, And the Qur'an praises his virtues, Shafi'Allah."
(Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)

Love of the Prophet. Bukhari relates in his Sahih that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, "None of you believes until I am more beloved to him than his father, his son, and all people" (Fath al-Bari, 1.58, hadith 15).

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam's words "The most perfect believer in respect of faith is he who is best of them in manners." If it wasnt for the Nabi (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) we wouldnt even have manners, know what cleanliness is or have any morals, its because of him (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) the whole world knows these things, without him (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) there wouldnt be any knowledge, there wouldnt be any inteligence, the greatest of all creation is still an understatement

This is beautifully expressed about the Prophet Sallallahu alaihe wasallam
''If only mankind had known Muhammad, they would have fallen in love with him as Majnun fell in love with Layla. Whenever his name is mentioned, they would tremble with joy in anticipation of entering the ethos which surrounds him and following his way wholeheartedly''.

Indeed, Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O you who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation. (33:56)
My beloved Hazrat Mohammed Mustafa (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) is Mercy for all the worlds and I love them more than my parents
And We have sent you not except as a mercy for all the worlds. (21:107)
The Prophet is closer to the believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers. And blood-relations are closer one to another in the Book of Allah than (other) believers and those who have fled (from Makkah), except that you do any good to your friends. This is inscribed in the Book. (33:6)

Lovinf the Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him and his family) is more than our duty. It is unconditional.

Expressing love and admiration for the Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) is itself a commandment of ALLAH, as Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says:
"Love, glorify and bless him and salute him with all due respect."

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
"Without love for the Prophet it is difficult to find God; He who is not of the Prophet's cannot be of God.
Without love for Muhammad faith cannot be complete;
To be a Muslim it is not enough to believe in God.
Daily prayers, charity, fasting and hajj are fine;
But despite these I cannot be among the faithful.
Unless I am ready to be sacrificed for the honour of Muhammad;
God is witness - my faith cannot attain perfection."

Islam has conditions but the love for the Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) is unconditional.
