Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuThere can be no sufi gallery without Mujaddid-e-Azam Shah Imam Rida Khan Barelwi Radi Allahu anhu. Did you know that besides authoring over 1000 books on over 50 different topics, such was the Imams vast knowledge & intellect, but another amazing fact is he wrote books simultaneously, that is he wrote with both hands 2 different books at once ............ Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuI remember and always look out for anything to do with the great Saint Hazrat Maruf Karkhi Rehmatullahi ’Alaih. I know Shaykh-ul-Islam has mentioned him many a time during his speeches. Regarding his nafs Hazrat Maruf Kharkhi Rehmatullahi ’Alaih has stated, 'O Nafs, adopt sincerity so that you may be known as sincere'. He has also stated, 'The sincere person is he, who conceals his good deeds as he conceals his evil deeds'.

An excellent idea Fana fi Shaykh.
I just want to quote something on the titles of the great chisti saint Hazrat Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Khaki Rehmatullahi ’Alaih
He was named Qutubuddin by his parents; his title "Bakhtiyar," meaning "friend of fortune," was given to him by his Shaikh, Hazrat Muinuddin Chishti Radi Allahu anhu. But how did he come by his other name, "Kaki," that is, "a man of cakes?"
One day Hazrat Qutubuddin Bakhtiyar Rehmatullahi ’Alaih was sitting near the tank known as Shamsiya in Delhi when some friends of his drew near and expressed a desire to eat hot cakes. He immediately thrust his hand into the water of the tank and drew forth exactly those cakes that his friends desired, and from that day he came to be called "Kaki."

In terms of respect from the opposition none comes close than Sayyidi A'LA HAZRAT sHAH Ahmed Raza Khan Radi Allahu anhu
This is what the opposition said about him
Abul Ula Maudoodi: "I have great respect in my heart for the knowledge and status of Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (radi Allahu anhu). He has great foresight over the knowledge of Deen and even his opposition are forced to accept this fact."
Asraf Ali Thanwi: "I have great respect in my heart for Ahmad Raza Khan (radi Allahu anhu). He calls us Kaafirs, but he says this only on the basis for his love for the Prophet (Salla Allaahu Alayhi wa Sallam) and not out of any other reason."
Muee'nuddeen Nadwi: "The late Ahmad Raza Khan (radi Allahu anhu) in this present time was "The Person of Knowledge". His every Fatawa, be it in support or refutal of anyone, is worthy of being studied."

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuQutub-e-Deccan Hazrat Syed Muhammad Hussaini Khwaja Bande Nawaz Gesudaraz.
He is one of the greatest saint of all the time, He is the pride of Chistiya Order.
He is a biggest Sahib-e-Karamat Buzurg and he is also very Jalali.During his childhood when he was just 7 years old he was doin wuzu and one pigeon just do peet on his shoulder , Hazrat just look at the bird and the bird burn down.
He has written 105 books and his blessed Gumbad is 105 feet high.
Volumes has been written on him by Mashaaikh's.
One day he with other disciples lifted the palanquin bearing Hazrat Nasir Uddin. His long hair stuck into the foot of the palki and pained him severely but he did not disentangle them for love and respect to the teacher. When Hazrat Nasiruddin learnt of the episode, he was overjoyed and recited the Persian couplet;
Har ki mureedae Syed Gaisoo Daraz shud; Wallah khilaf nest ki Uoo ishq baaz shud.
(Meaning: "Syed Gaisoo-Draaz has pledged his obedience; there is nothing wrong in it because he has deeply fallen in love)."
After this incidence he was entitled Gaisoo-Draaz.
His blessed Parrot was Hafiz-e-Quran
This great scholar, mystic, and the wonderful spiritual guide attained an age of 104 years, died on 16 Ziqa'ad 825 Hijri, in Gulbarga and buried there. His tomb is a place of pilgrimage for all the people rich and poor alike.
My Shaykh's blessed mother is descendant of this great Wali-Allah

HAZRAT SHEIKH ABDUL AZIZ Radi Allahu anhu From amongst the sons of Hazrat Ghousul Azam Radi Allahu anhu, Syed Sheikh Abdul Aziz Radi Allahu anhu is well famed for his knowledge and adoption of the ways of his father.
He was born on 27th Shiwal in 522 A.H. in Baghdad.
he had also learnt Hadith and Fiqh from his father and other scholars of his time. He had for a considerable time been teaching these subjects in Baghdad and also delivering sermons.
He migrated from Baghdad in 585 A.H. towards the mountains and chose to reside there.
The condition in the city of Asqualan became alarming and antisocial and in religious activities prevailing in that city. The city was therefore attacked by him and conquered for the Khalifa of his time. He restored Law and order in that city by dealing effectively with all the undesireable elements.
He was well known for his religious and spiritual knowledge. His soul departed on 18th Rabe-ul-Sani 602 A.H. in the country where he migrated earlier. He was buried in Aqahrah 85 miles away from Mousel.
DECENDENTS OF SYED ABDUL AZIZ WHO HELD THE VENERABLE AND HIGH OFFICE OF NAQEEB OF BAGHDAD.
Just to Add our Silsilah my Shaykh is Descendant of this great blessed son of Sarkar-e-Gaus-Paak Radi Allahu anhu[/color]

Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemShaikh Abul-Qasim al-Junaid ibn Muhammad al-Khazzaz al-Nehawandi (may Allah be pleased with him) was the nephew of Shaikh Sari al-Saqati (may Allah be pleased with him) From childhood Shaikh Abul-Qasim al-Junaid (may Allah be pleased with him) was given to spiritual sorrow, and was an earnest seeker after Almighty Allah, well disciplined, thoughtful and quick of understanding and of penetrating intuition. The disciplinary rules of the school are eight principles of Junaid Radi Allahu anhu (third/ninth centuries). A murid [disciple] must constantly observe the following: 1. Ritual purity (wudu, a process of cleansing prior to prayer) 2. Fasting 3. Silence 4. Seclusion 5. Invocation or recollection of Allah, using the formula La Ilaha Illa Allah (zikr), etc 6. Heart to heart connection with his/her Pir [Shaikh] at all times 7. Impure thoughts and impulses are to be put aside as they occur 8. Surrender him/herself to the will of Allah and never refuse or question what Allah has imposed upon him. moderation in eating and drinking when breaking a fast, and maintaining a bare minimum of sleep. For 40 successive years Junaid Radi Allahu anhu kept awake the whole nights in his devotional practices. For 30 years years he would perform the prayer before sleeping, then stand on his feet repeating "Allah" until dawn, saying the dawn prayer with ablution he had made the previous night. ashraf786.proboards15.com/index.cgi?board=awliya&action=display&thread=1157192687ashraf786.proboards15.com/index.cgi?board=awliya&action=display&thread=1150290926ashraf786.proboards15.com/index.cgi?board=awliya&action=display&thread=1155996203
