Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
I thought the answer and replies were a bit vague not as clear as they could have been ?

So basically what theyre saying is its down to the individual nat khwan who is responsible for his intentions ?

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuSo in other words they are going against the fatwa from Bareilly sharif ? What theyre saying is its upto the naat khwan to make sure he doesnt use zikr -ilahi as music, like a background drum beat. I suppose its down to intention, peoples perception and the way the actual zikr is used. I think i will listen very carefully to Owais Qadris naats from now on to compare him to the more obvious naat khawans. Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

The dhikr is now totally out of hand in the new albums. I've just seen Hafiz Ghulam Mustafa Qadri's new track and I'm quite shocked to be honest particularly in light of the recent fataawa on this subject. The fact that Ameere Ahle Sunnat has literally begged them to stop this and they appear to have taken no heed which really is disappointing. This is something that needs to be taken seriously as it is a source of great fitna and giving ahle sunnat a bad name. Surely the na'at khwan are aware of this yet they seem to more interested in the interestsof QTV making more money than the advice of the scholars.
It is a common saying that money is the root of all evil and unfortunately that appears to be the case in this instance as well.
May Allah give us the taufiq to respect the views of our akabir
