Alsalam Alaikum,
I need help interpreting two dreams. I am not yet Muslim; my husband is a born-Muslim and before converting, I am learning about the religion and reading the Qur'an. I will not get into so many details as I do not see that they are important. But there are certain parts that do stand out and I feel as if these dreams are not only related, but are trying to send me some type of message.
I am crossing the street with my 8-year-old daughter (from the left side of the street to the right side) and we encounter a Muslim man dressed in simple robes standing in front of a mosque. His beard is white and long. He talks to me in Arabic (although I do not understand it I seemed to comprehend what he was saying in my dream) and invites me inside. He takes my hand and places a small bowl of water he had picked up from a fountain standing before us. He tells me to cleanse myself and go inside. Although the bowl of water was very small, I managed to completely drench myself as I pour the water over my head. As we walked through the doors I saw that the mosque was very ancient-looking, almost Egyptian-like with large white columns and many large cleansing pools. As we look around we see many Muslims, mostly women, walking across the halls, almost floating. They were very beautiful and looked so peaceful. One woman caught my eye as she passed me. She was pregnant and had a very large belly. Her robe was burgundy and her headdress was almost glowing. She turned to me and smiled; that was when I woke up.
Exactly one year later, just two nights ago, I had another dream that a little girl not more than 13 years old was showing me how to put on a hijab. It was a beautiful headdress and was practically glowing because it was so white. Right after putting it on I took my daughter's hand and opened a door (what I thought to be a restroom, but I am not sure). I woke up.
Please explain as I am not sure what this can mean. Thank you so much and may Allah continue to bless all mankind.
