ALLAH (AZAWAJAL) IN THE NAME OF MOST GRACIOUS THE MOST MERCIFUL
ALLAH (AZAWAJAL) IN THE NAME OF MOST GRACIOUS THE MOST MERCIFUL
From Muhammad Ilyas 'Attaar Qaaderi, Razvi Zia'ee (ghufiya anhu), sends salaam to the Prince Al-Sayyid Abdul Qadir Bapu Shareef Qadri Razavi (ata lallahu umrah) filled with the beautiful smell of the breeze of Madina.
Assalaamu-Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakatahu wa maghfirtuhuu, Alhamdu-Lillah Rabil-Alameen ala kulli haal
All praise and thanks to Allah (az'zawajal), that at the moment I am sitting in the Prophet's (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam)'s mosque and after Fajr prayer I am fortunate to write "Alwasaya Minal Madina-til-Munawwara".
Ah, Today is my last morning in Madina Shareef, the sun is about to give Salaam to the dome of the Prophet (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam). Ah! If I don't get buried inside Janna-tul-Baqi by tonight, I will have to leave Madina. My eyes are shedding tears, and my heart is upset.
Ah! My heart is drowning with sorrow. The tormenting worry of separation from Madina has made me a grieving picture. It looks as if someone has snatched the smile from my lips. Ah! Very shortly Madina will be left behind. The heart will be broken. Ah! The separation of Madina is like a small child who is snatched from his mother, he keeps on looking back with longing eyes, that his mother will call him back and that she will again put me in her lap, and cling me to her chest, read a lullaby and put me to sleep.
Respected prince, now with a broken heart I am going to mention my 40 wills, with the hope that you will have mercy on me and find the best way for my success in the hereafter.
Also, my wills are for all the brothers and sisters who are attached to Dawat-e-Islami. My children and my family members must also pay attention to these wills. I wish death, to a sinner like me, comes in the shade of the green dome and the minarets. I wish I could die with the splendid sight of the Lord of Madina, the noble king, the helper on the day of judgement, the beloved of Allah (az'zawajal), the independent (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam), and if only 2 metres of ground could be made available for me in Jannat-ul-Baqi. Ah! Otherwise wherever possible
I wish that the most merciful Allah (az'zawajal) forgives me for the sake of his beloved Prophet (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam). Oh Allah (az'zawajal)! As long as I live, keep me drowned in the love of the Prophet (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam) and in the remembrance of Madina. I keep on inviting towards good. I am blessed with the intercession of the Prophet (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam) and be forgiven. I am blessed with the neighbourhood of the beloved (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam). Ah! I wish I am drowned with the sight of the Prophet (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam). Oh Allah (az'zawajal) send uncountable Salutations on your beloved (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam). Forgive all of their people (Ummah) as this was their wish. May Dawat-e-Islami prosper. All the brothers and sisters achieve the heart full of the love of Madina. Ameen bija-hil-nabi-yil-ameen (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam)

- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 1:[/glow] If you find me in the agonies of death, turn my face towards the Qibla. Straighten my feet. Before death recite Sura Yaseen, and read poems (Naat) of Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (rahmatullahi ta'ala alay), because their poems are according to the Shariah and commentary of the Qur'an and Hadith and the sayings of the pious people.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 2:[/glow] After the soul has departed keep in mind the Sunnahs regarding shrouding and burial at all times meaning to be quick in shrouding etc. Act upon the sayings according to Bahar-e-Shariat Volume 4.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 3:[/glow] The size of the grave should be according to the Sunnah. Make a niche as this is Sunnah. (There are 2 types of graves: (1) Coffin: Today in the sub continent coffins are used. (2) Niche: The way to make a niche is that after digging the grave, dig towards the Qibla and place the corpse. Niche is a Sunnah. If the ground is capable then act upon this, but if the ground is soft then there is no harm to place a coffin. Remember to put a lid on top of the niche. The gravedigger might say to put the blocks slanted but do not listen to him. Sag-e-Madina (ghufiya anhu))
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 4:[/glow] The inner walls of the grave must be earth. Do not use bricks. If it is necessary to use bricks then cover them with mud.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 5:[/glow] If possible recite Sura Yaseen Shareef, Sura Mulk and Durood-E-Taaj and blow inside the grave.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 6:[/glow] The shroud should be from my own money. In the case of poverty, take money from someone with correct beliefs (Sunni Muslim).
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 7:[/glow] Ghusl should be given by someone with a beard and Imaama and according to the Sunnah. (If a Sayyid gives my dirty body Ghusl, I think I would consider it as disrespect to him).
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 8:[/glow] During Ghusl, the Sitr-e-Aurat (from belly button to the knees) must be covered properly. If two sheets of blanket are put over from the knees to the belly button, it might reduce the chances of Sitr opening. It is important for water to reach every part of the body.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 9:[/glow] It will be my good fortune if the Kafan is soaked in Zam Zam or the water of Madina. I wish a Sayyid can decorate a green Imaama over my head.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 10:[/glow] After Ghusl and before covering the face with the shroud, write "Bismillah hir'rahmaa Nir'raheem" with the index finger on the forehead.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 11:[/glow] In the same way write "La ilaha illallahu Muhammadur Rasoolullah (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam)" on the chest.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 12:[/glow] Over the heart write "Ya RasoolAllah (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam)".
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 13:[/glow] Between the belly button and the chest write, "Ya Ghauth-e-Azam Dastgeer (radi Allahu anhu)", "Ya Imam Abu Hanifa (radi Allahu anhu)", "Ya Imam Ahmed Raza (radi Allahu anhu)" and "Ya Sheikh Zia-ud-Deen (radi Allahu anhu)".
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 14:[/glow] Hence from the belly button to the head (excluding the back), write "Madina, Madina". Remember all this should not be done by an ink pen but with the index finger. I wish a Sayyid could write all this.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 15:[/glow] If possible sprinkle the dust of Madina on my face and put thorns from Madina over my eyes and if not thorns then the seeds of dates from Madina.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 16:[/glow] When walking with the funeral purgation keep in mind all the Sunnahs.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 17:[/glow] In the funeral procession all Islamic brothers recite the Naat by Imam Ahmed Raza (radi Allahu anhu) "Kaa'bay ke Bada-rud-duja tum pe karoroon Durood".
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 18:[/glow] The funeral prayers should be led by a rightly guided Sunni scholar or an Islamic brother who acts upon the Sunnahs or if my family is capable then my children can lead the prayers, but Sayyids should be given priority.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 19:[/glow] I wish a Sayyid could bury me in the grave with their merciful hands.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 20:[/glow] Make a place in the grave near the face, where an Islamic brother who acts upon the Sunnahs can put the Ahad Nama, print of the blessed shoes (Naal-e-Paak), picture of the green dome, Shajra Shareef, and other Holy relics.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 21:[/glow] If it is my good fortune to be buried inside Janna-tul-Baqi then let it be or else where ever the brothers wish, but do not bury me in a place taken by force as it is haraam (forbidden).
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 22:[/glow] Give Adhaan on the grave.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 23:[/glow] It will be my good fortune if a Sayyid can instruct me (Talqeen).
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 24:[/glow] If possible then those who love me should sit besides my grave for 12 days. If this is not possible then for at least 12 hours near my grave and keep my heart amused by reciting the Qur'an, Naat and Hamd. Insha-Allah (az'zawajal) I will get used to my new place. In this period keep in mind the time for prayers in congregation.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 25:[/glow] If my children are alive or anyone who has love for me can repay any rights I owe regarding the people (Huqooqul-Ebaad). Allah (az'zawajal) will reward you greatly.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 26:[/glow] I will be grateful if you could do Esaal-e-thawaab and pray for my forgiveness.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 27:[/glow] Everyone should stay steadfast on the path of AhleSunnah and upon the true Islamic teachings of Imam-e-AhleSunnat Moulana Shah Ahmed Raza Khan (radi Allahu anhu).
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 28:[/glow] Keep yourself well away from the company of people with corrupt beliefs.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 29:[/glow] Stay steadfast upon the Sunnah of The Prophet (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam) because there is no salvation without it.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 30:[/glow] Do not be lazy in offering Namaaz, fasting, Hajj etc. and any other compulsory (Fardh) duties.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 31:[/glow] Do not let the work of international movement of Qur'an and Sunnah "Dawat-e-Islami" become slow, but work even harder with greater passion.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 32:[/glow] Keep spreading the message for the love of the king of Madina, the happiness of the heart and soul (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam).
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 33:[/glow] Keep fighting the war against the love of the world, Haraam earnings, fashion and other sins.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 34:[/glow] Keep on spreading Invitation to good (Naikey ki Dawat) with sincerity and Madani sweetness.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 35:[/glow] Never let anger and silly talk come close to you or else the work of religion will become hard.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 36:[/glow] Important: My children have no right to earn the money of this world from my books and Bayan cassettes. All my books etc. are only for the sake of Allah (az'zawajal).
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 37:[/glow] Act according to Shariah regarding my estate.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 38:[/glow] I have in advance forgiven anyone who swears at me, causes me harm, injures me and hurts my feelings.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 39:[/glow] No one can take revenge from them.
- [glow=green,2,300]Madina 40:[/glow] If someone kills me, I have forgiven him. I request my next of kin to also forgive him. If because of the intercession of the Prophet (sallallahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi wa'sallam) I am blessed on the Day of Judgement then Insha-Allah (az'zawajal) I will take that person who martyred me with me in paradise on the condition that he died as a Muslim.
