Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH
On Yaum-e-Eid it will be 1 year that Syed Karamat Shah saab will have passed away inna lillahi wa inna elhaye ra'jeun.
Syed Karamat Shah saab was a great Ashiq-e-Rasool, very pious and was well respected by the Sunni community of Preston. I urge all brothers and sisters to make dua for him and his family during these final days of Sharu Ramadhan.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
I was read reading and came across this thread and realised it has been just over a year since sayyed karamat shah sahib passed away, like brother hafeez said shah sahib was a great ashiq e rasool, well respected and well known in the preston community and that’s the reason he is remembered. I still remember going to my grandads house (late Mawlana Amaanullah Saheb) who was a good friend of shah sahib and had the utmost respect for them and all sayeds and they would sit and tell us stories. Also remember going to the janazah were hundreds of muslims turned up on short notice regardless of it being jummah and eid day as brother faizan mentiond. Shah sahib will be dearly missed, may we all pray that Allah grant them the highest station in junnah
ameen
